WOW what a crowd last night! Thank you ALL so much for coming to class! I can't believe this week is our LAST class for the month of August! We plan to have as many classes in the month of September as we can, but I will not be posting a full month schedule. So, please keep checking back here on the weekly for updates! Instructor appreciation post! @___.marika._ ✨✨✨
Marika began practicing yoga in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the way that yoga helped her cultivate spaciousness, presence, and a relationship with the wisdom of her body. She’s been teaching since 2017, offering a variety of styles, from vinyasa to slow flow to yin. Marika loves guiding students to deepen into their present moment experience of breath and sensation to create more awareness and ultimately, aliveness. Her teaching style is relaxed with a focus on softening into ease. She always encourages students to honor where they’re at on any given day and listen to their own body first. Marika believes that cannabis pairs beautifully with a yoga practice, as it can help amplify our experience of interoception and connection with all layers of self.✨

Marika studied at both The Yoga Space and Love Hive Yoga, completing two 200 hour teacher trainings as well as additional trainings in restorative, yin, and yoga nidra. She has also studied plant spirit medicine through the School of the Sacred Wild. She is currently studying Chinese medicine at NUNM✨

We are so excited to announce that we will be having class EVERY WEDNESDAY in August! All classes will be held by the beautiful community garden (featured in these pics!) at Colonel Summers Park...sesh at 6:45, class starts 7 PM! Bring a mat and water.
