We are incredibly proud and blown away that Stony Groves has received a highly respected three-star award from the Guild of Fine Food for our Rockfish Spice Blend.

Overall, our Dorset-based business was lucky enough to be granted the following for our delicious offerings:

3 stars - Rockfish Spice Blend
2 stars - Nepalese Timut Pepper
2 stars - Black Kampot Pepper
1 star - Citrusy Timut Rock Salt
1 star - Kampot Crabshack Spice Blend

Of over 15,000 entries only 306 received a three star award so this truly is an enormous honour, which we don’t take lightly.

Our Black Kampot Pepper has received 2 stars at the @guildoffinefood Great Taste Awards, BOOM 💥

The judges said:

A very intriguing pepper - a capsicum heat alongside fruity cooling menthol. The heat is rasping but pleasant and lingers. The mint notes are fresh, bright and herbaceous. Our minds are running with what we can do with this - a few dropped into mint tea, wonderful in a classic mint sauce with lamb - and perhaps a sprinkle over a mojito! A wonderfully versatile pepper.

Mitch first introduced us to the idea of a four pepper spice blend and Timut pepper, OMG what an ingredient. To blend this with our world-famous Kampot pepper varieties is a pleasure.
