Bay Days 2026 was incredible and it was enormous but knackering fun being on the volunteer crew for it this time around. From the load-in and build on Friday night and Saturday morning, through an entire day of awesome bands, great atmosphere and fantastic company, to the exhausting same-night teardown of it all once everything finished, I loved every second.

Shout-out to the @radiocitybw and @intheabyssmetal gang for some top notch organisation and bookings, the rest of the volunteer crew and venues who put in a hell of a lot of work to realise the vision, all of the fantastic bands and artists who came to play it, and everyone who made the trip here to Chelmsford for a brilliant day of music.

Way too many photos of way too many bands to cram them all into one post but here's some who I managed to get close enough to take reasonable ones of.

I've been listening to @whmpodcast for more years than I can even remember and finally having them all over in the UK for a series of live shows in Oxford this past weekend was absolutely fanastic.

Had such a good time with @jonanamary , laughed an absolute ton and was even fortunate enough to bump into the guys outside the back of the venue when we got lost trying to find our way through the bus station!

If you're in any way into movies of any kind and somehow haven't heard of them, please do check their podcast out - they're awesome! taken in Old Fire Station, Oxford by @stoo5150

I've been looking forward this for so long and I'm so glad to have the opportunity to read about someone I admire massively. Shane's music across so many different projects has been a massive influence and seeing this book take shape lately has been awesome. Probably the closest I'll ever get to having my name in print too (in a roundabout manner of speaking haha 😂) Kudos @shanenapalm , it was a pleasure meeting you at @bloodstockopenair back in august! 🤘 taken in Chelmsford, Essex by @stoo5150
