POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 💫💗💐

this post was inspired by @laurenreadswhat and @dreamerwithabook , who both did a phenomenal job with their post so i had to give it a try 🙈

i recruited my best friend and boyfriend and helping me pick my big three because i had so many choices!! but, this was the consensus to hear we go…

ME AND MY BIG 3️⃣ -

📚🫶🏼 books obviously!! i seriously owe everything to the love and joy i have for reading. 🥹

🏰✨🐭 everything and anything disney!! from growing up LOVING disney movies to doing DCP, disney defines such a large part of me and i am completely unashamed of it 🥰

🐾💌🦴 my passion for dogs really came to heart when i started my job… (i work in the dog business) but looking back at my life, i have ALWAYS loved dogs and all animals so much. but i’d seriously not be able to love my life as much as i do without my furry friends 😭

(runner ups: camping, traveling, movies/tv, and cats)

𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 🐾💗💫🪩🌊🏈🦀📚

It’s 2025 so it’s time to update my get to know me post!! I absolutely love yapping about mutual interests, so if you see something we have in common, please comment!! 🤩

✩ I’m from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and take very high pride in that. I’m as stereotypical as you can get - I love the Orioles & Ravens, the beach.. I live and die for crabs.. and our flag is the best flag. 😤

✩ I live in a zoo. No seriously, I have 6 pets in an 800 square foot house. 🐱🐶 All of our pets are named after movie characters! Our two pups (pictured) are Harley (Harley Quinn) and Kylo (Kylo Ren). We have four cats, Nala (Lion King), Marvel (self explanatory), Bullseye (Toy Story), and Zero (Nightmare Before Christmas). 💛

✩ I have a boyfriend named Troy, and we are the definition of opposites attract. But, he would bend over backwards to make sure I’m happy, and is kind of funny, which is why I fell in love with him 🥰

✩ I am for sure a ✨Disney adult🏰✨ and there is absolutely no shame in the game. I did DCP for a few months in 2022, and wish I could move to Orlando so I can go back to visiting WDW whenever I want 🐭💗

✩ Books I would literally give my life for: Beach Read, the Invisible Life of Addie Larue, A Court of Mist and Fury, and Seven Year Slip 📚💌

✩ When not reading, I love escaping reality in watching movies/TV. My #1 watch will ALWAYS be Titanic 🚢 I have watched that over 75 times probably. I also love Stranger Things, Tangled, the Notebook, 1883, and any natural disaster movie/show you can think of. 📺

✩ I work as General Manager at a small business. It’s a dog Boarding/Training/DayCare/Grooming facility, and I really cannot see any job being better than mine 💁🏼‍♀️

✩ Spotify > Apple Music. 🎧 On my Spotify, you’ll find a whole lot of Musicals - both Broadway, and from movies. Some of my repeats are Epic the Musical, Wicked, Moulin Rouge, The Lion King (all of them), and so much more! 🎶

✩ I love Psychology/Sociology and am always learning about human nature. Combine that with my love for the Bible & Jesus, and I have so much going on in my brain 🧠✝️

That’s it for now folks!! 👋🏼 taken in BOOKSTA by @storieswsam

i came with a couple of books and left with a dog toy — something i never thought i’d see in a little library 😂 my tbr is entirely too long to add to it today, but maybe next time! but my dogs can’t have enough toys 🥰 by @storieswsam

MY LOVE FOR BOOKS & MOVIES 🤝🏼 THIS TREND

Y’all this trend was made for me. Yes, I love reading and books so much but I have to be honest y’all…

If they ever asked me to choose between books and movies… 😬😬😬 Movies will win every time. SORRY DON’T KILL ME🙈

Gosh I could have made 20+ slides of my little niche movie categories but I held back. Instead, you get one wild cars at the very end.

PUHLEASE tell me if we have anything in common so I can yap🥹💗

Thank you @madisonsbookdiary for the inspo!!! by @storieswsam

a recent 5 star read 💫🌊⚓️🦞☀️

I love a good drama-romance action, especially when its messy family. And men named Jack. I love men named Jack.

This book gave me like Adult version of We Were Liars vibes, in terms of it’s a family private island in New England & lots of tangled, messy family dynamics involved. I’m stepping out of exclusively romance books and giving myself a bit more fiction/thriller, and this is a perfect book for that category. If you want something mysterious, lots going on, but with a lil sprinkle of romance, this is a perfect book for you. 💗

Also the audiobook was phenomenal and @justjuliawhelan is queen (this is my 2nd time posting about Julia this week, oops). by @storieswsam

ATMOSPHERE ‎‧₊˚✩ 🪐✩˚₊‧

This was an absolute amazing listening experience. I don’t even have words that can explain how absolutely stunning this book is. All I can say is that every single person in this world needs to read it. TJR is definitely in my top 5 favorite authors, because the way she writes is absolutely exquisite and top notch.

PS. when you’re deciding whether to listen to this or eyeball read it, just know our girl Julia Whelan is one of the narrators 🥰

💬: If you could go to space, would you?
—— I really don’t know if I would😂 I guess if my life depended on it. But space sends me into existential panic so, I’d rather not🥲 by @storieswsam

mid year check in 💫🪩💃🏼

HOW the HECK is it almost july already… i cannot believe it!! this year started out in what felt like an eternal slump; this time last year, i had read about 7 more books than i have today (27 total for the year) so i’m def behind. not that its a race but i had hoped for a better year by now.

however i have read some of the best books, none that really top my charts (yet) but into the blue is by far my fav so far. no matter what & the academy are close behind as well.

omg i’m SOOOO excited for the 2nd half of 2026!!!!!!! y’all the books on my tbr… and the new releases… this is gonna be too good.

💬: how many books do you have left to reach your 2026 goal?

currently reading ⋆˚꩜｡

and actually, only like 20 pages left so will be finishing this tonight.

i would have finished last night but i am unfortunately a chronic fall-asleep-when-i-read reader. yes, it absolutely sucks. 🥱

do i love this book? tbh not really. it had alllllllll of the aspects of my fav books but i think the build up was pretty absent, so unfortunately this will probably be a 3/5. so sad bc i wanted to love this one so bad!!!!!

💬: how’s everyone enjoying their summer??
