~ while I love a slow morning, I tend to have more time in the evening to read!

~ ebook! I’ve tried so hard, but I just can’t listen to audiobooks, I’m distracted easily and lose focus 🫠

✨fiction or non-fiction
~ fiction!! Although I have recently ventured into some memoirs… so maybe I’ll be a non-fiction girlie in the future 💕

✨paperback or hardback
~ paperbacks all the way! I used to love hardbacks because they look so pretty on my shelf, but reading paperbacks is easier for me!!

✨new or old release
~ both!! If the plot or characters are interesting, I’ll pick it up

✨classic lover or hater
~ classic lover!! As an English major, classics like little women and pride and prejudice are one of the reasons we love reading (especially romance!)

✨bookmark or dog ear
~ honestly… neither. I can somehow just temper where I stop in books and am not usually away from it long enough to forget. BUT I did get some bookmarks for Valentine’s Day that are adorable and I might need to start using them 🥰

Would You Rather ~ Bookish Edition

📚 Only read standalone books or only read series for the rest of your life?
Series - I really enjoy revisiting characters I’ve read in previous books.

📚 Meet your favorite character or meet your favorite author?
Either way it would be hard to choose a favorite, so I’ll go author

📚 Always have to read the last chapter first or never know how the book ends?
Last chapter first - as much as I would hate to already know the ending, I wouldn’t want to never know more.

📚 Only listen to audiobooks forever or only read physical books forever?
Physical books! I love my audiobooks, but it couldn’t be my sole way of reading.

📚 Only read books with predictable endings or only read books with cliffhangers?
Dang! I guess I need to go cliffhangers, even though it is the opposite of my previous answer.
