Stormkeep headlines the Grand Hall main stage on Saturday at Fortress Festival 2027 with an exclusive performance for the United Kingdom! Stormkeep began as a stronghold for individuals who sought to carry the flame of a lost age. Branching into the worlds of epic dungeon synth and melodic Black Metal, Stormkeep hearkens back to a time when, without compromise, majestic melodies and keyboards could live side by side with razor sharp riffs and pummelling raw production. "Stormkeep returns to the shores of Europa for the first time in 4 years, bringing heralds of Othertime and Iswylm. Marking this bacchanal of black symphonies, Stormkeep has pulled from the old scrolls and the new to bring a performance from all parts of Elda's history. In an exclusive appearance and a set of material never performed in the UK before, Stormkeep will take all who are in attendance on an epic journey through the history of the Dragon Kings. We are honoured to bring this special set to Fortress Festival, the perfect venue for us to present these nocturnes." www.fortressfestival.co.uk taken in Scarborough Spa by @stormkeepofficial

Officially licensed artwork for the immortal Stormkeep! I am over the “vampiric” moon getting to work on this artwork. I have been a huge fan since Galdrum and “The Nocturnes of Iswylm” is my top contender for AOTY. Honestly couldn’t have picked a more perfect project to work on. Isaac reached out after seeing my work for Blood Incantation. He sent references from Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, Berserk and 90s era black metal. (You can see a subtle nod to VHD with the figure entering the castle). All major sources of inspiration for my art. I went all out with the details, using scratchboard technique for the castle and etching for the background. This piece was a lot of experimenting and I redid large portions of it several times. Took about 20-30 hours of rendering alone. Very happy with how it turned out overall. Swipe to see closeups, sketches and an alternate long sleeve concept. (Long sleeve not available CONCEPT ONLY).
