• EMPEROR “Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk“

🇬🇧 Stormkeep will perform at Brutal Assault 2027!

Snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains, biting frost, and pure nostalgia for the golden age of 90s black metal. Colorado’s Stormkeep erupted onto the underground scene in 2020 with the Glimmerik EP, but it was their 2021 full-length debut Tales of Othertime that turned them into an instant sensation at the crossroads of melodic black metal and dungeon synth. This isn't cheap retro-worship, but a masterclass in songwriting by musicians you otherwise know from acts like Blood Incantation and Wayfarer.

Stormkeep resurrect the spirit of early Dissection, Emperor, and Stormblåst-era Dimmu Borgir. Their sound relies on meticulously structured, dramatic guitar leads, majestic synth atmospheres, and relentless blast beats. Tracks like The Spine of Ice or the ten-minute epic A Journey Through Shining Worlds immediately transport the listener to a realm of dark fantasy, steel, and frostbitten fortress crypts. Avoiding modern production traps, the band doubles down on authentic analog coldness packed with dynamic storytelling and razor-sharp momentum.

Skladby jako The Spine of Ice nebo desetiminutový epický opust A Journey Through Shining Worlds vás okamžitě přenesou do světa temného fantasy, mečů a zasypaných hradních krypt.

Stormkeep headlines the Grand Hall main stage on Saturday at Fortress Festival 2027 with an exclusive performance for the United Kingdom!

Stormkeep began as a stronghold for individuals who sought to carry the flame of a lost age. Branching into the worlds of epic dungeon synth and melodic Black Metal, Stormkeep hearkens back to a time when, without compromise, majestic melodies and keyboards could live side by side with razor sharp riffs and pummelling raw production.

"Stormkeep returns to the shores of Europa for the first time in 4 years, bringing heralds of Othertime and Iswylm. Marking this bacchanal of black symphonies, Stormkeep has pulled from the old scrolls and the new to bring a performance from all parts of Elda's history. In an exclusive appearance and a set of material never performed in the UK before, Stormkeep will take all who are in attendance on an epic journey through the history of the Dragon Kings. We are honoured to bring this special set to Fortress Festival, the perfect venue for us to present these nocturnes."
