Forgive me. I got waylaid in the future.
I’m back with a glimpse of what we’re building.

We’re making machines smarter while outsourcing our own minds. In one Wharton study, people followed AI’s wrong answers 80% of the time (link in bio).

So at Hack the Future Labs Kenya, backed by the British Council Digital Heritage Pilot Grant, we asked: what if the answers lie in the intelligence we’ve overlooked?

Imperialism doesn’t seize land anymore. It hacks minds. 🧠

Venezuela was the prototype. Smart cities are the rollout.

The playbook? 🛑 President abducted 📉 Economy collapsed ⛏️ Resources extracted 🎭 Extraction disguised as “help”

But it’s not just Venezuela. It’s global.

Ukraine. Taiwan. Jamaica. The UK. Australia. The U.S.
 Different flags. Same tactics.
⚔️ War = peace ✊ Protest = extremism 🛡️ Censorship = safety 📡 Surveillance = innovation
🆔 Digital IDs. 🤐 Algorithmic silence. ⚖️ Jury trials erased. 
This isn’t chaos. It’s UX design — and you are the user.

People dem’—
I just saw a video of the gov trying to buy land.
In the middle of a crisis.

No food.
No power.
No meds.
And their move? Take more.

Where are they when the floods hit?
When elders need insulin?
When kids go hungry?

It’s not the state.
It’s the people dem!
Artists. Neighbours. Community.

Governments failed.
They sold us out.
Now they want our data, ID, land.

So when I say:
An Algorithm of Our Own—
It’s not cute.
It’s survival.
Design.
Our future.

🌀 My heart is in Jamaica.

✨ LFF Expanded Industry Day — an unexpected gem 💎
The showcases were strong.
The panels delivered (as expected).
But the real gold?
