Dear friends,

With the majority of votes now counted, it looks like I am going to come up just short in my bid to be the next mayor of Martinez. I’m so proud of this campaign and incredibly grateful to my supporters, volunteers, friends, and especially my wife who all believed in me and my vision for our wonderful town. Congratulations to Brianne Zorn and I look forward to working with and supporting her in my capacity as Chair of the Planning Commission.

I firmly believe that in order for Martinez to realize its potential, we need new leadership. The voters were clear in this assessment as well, overwhelmingly opting for change and a break from the past.

Throughout the campaign, I consistently spoke of the tremendous opportunity and potential here in Martinez. The growth of our downtown businesses has been instrumental in Martinez‘ recent successes, with a new generation of entrepreneurs bringing their ideas and vision to life. We must embrace and build upon this energy to carry us forward while recognizing our rich history. Many of these business owners and the Martinez Police Officers Association have endorsed my campaign and I want express my deep appreciation for their trust and support.

Thank you again to everyone for listening and sharing your ideas over the past few months. Campaigns can be incredibly divisive for a community, but now is the time to come together to move #Martinez forward. I look forward to continuing to support our town and community in the years to come and wish @briformayor all the best as our next mayor. taken in Martinez, California by @strambley

No matter what happens, I'm proud of the work we have done and I will always be there for our community. To everyone who has lifted up my campaign: THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

✔️6000+ doors knocked
✔️400+ signs throughout town
✔️22 community events hosted
✔️Endorsed by dozens of
community and business leaders

All of this could not have been possible without your amazing support.

Regardless, we will be #MovingMartinezForward.

“The Martinez POA is proud to endorse Sean Trambley for Mayor. We need new leadership who will prioritize public safety and fill critical vacancies in our police department. Leading the Measure X campaign in 2018 to fund public safety positions and maintain emergency response times, he has demonstrated his commitment to our officers and community. We look forward to Martinez’ next chapter with Sean as Mayor.”

MPOA President
