The crystal ball revealed the answer… 🗝️

The Witch had seen what Emma carried.

And this time, she didn’t take the bones.

She took the keys.

But why were the keys so important? 🌙 🗝️ The keys are now available in my bio

The Witch has taken something in return… but what? 🔮

Emma took the bones.

Now the Witch has taken something of her own.

Four possibilities.
Four clues.
Only one answer.

Think carefully… which object did the Witch take? #folklore #darkfolklore #puzzle #witchy #riddleoftheday by @strangerfolkes

Old tales tell of a witch who kept a crystal ball beneath her candlelight.
It was said the glass could reveal every thief who entered her home.

But there was one thing the old tales forgot to mention…

The crystal ball could also reveal what they would take next. #folklore

The Blackthorn Witch has discovered what Emma has been collecting… 🖤🔮

But she won’t be facing this alone.

With her black cat by her side and the crystal ball revealing Emma’s little collection of bones, something tells me this isn’t over yet…

“You let her take them?”
“She took what was left.”
“Then we’ll take something from her.” 👀🖤

And now… things are about to get interesting.

The witch was gone. 🧙‍♀️🌲

But the forest had kept her bones.

Emma found them beneath the roots, scattered among the leaves.

She could have left them there.

Instead, she gathered every piece.

The old tales said a witch’s bones carried memories of the magic she once held.

So Emma took them home.

And from something once feared…
she made something beautiful. 🦴🌿

But the bones weren’t the only thing Emma rescued that night.

One by one, every creature the witch had captured was released back into the forest. 👻🍄🦉

The Oddlings were free.

And perhaps, for the first time, the forest was free of the witch too.

Some things deserve a second life. 🖤

The spirit did not run.

For the first time, the little ghost stood his ground. 👻

The witch raised her staff… but the forest began to whisper.

One by one, the trees stirred.

The spirit had learned something in that bottle.

He was not as powerless as the witch believed.

And somewhere deep beneath the roots, the other Oddlings were waiting. 🌲

The old tales were beginning to come true.

The old woods had a warning. 🌲

Never follow a witch after dark.

But the little spirit had followed her deep into the forest.

The witch stopped.

Slowly, she turned.

“You should have stayed in the bottle,” she whispered.

The spirit trembled… but did not run.

“I know what you did.” 👻

For the first time, the witch looked afraid.

And somewhere deep among the trees…

something else began to stir. 🌲🧙‍♀️

What do you think happens next?

🧙‍♀️ The witch attacks
👻 The spirit fights back

The little spirit was free.

But he did not leave the woods.

He knew where the Oddlings had been taken.
And he knew who had taken them.

So, gathering what little courage he had,
he followed the old path deeper into the forest…

Past the twisted trees.
Past the moss-covered stones.
Past the place where the birds no longer sang.

And there, beneath the ancient branches,
stood the witch. 🧙‍♀️

The spirit had spent long enough trapped inside the bottle.

Now he had a debt to repay.

He would find the others.
And he would set them free.

But old woodland tales warn us…
never follow a witch too far into the forest. If you’re curious enough to find the witch too, 🧙‍♀️
she’s waiting in my bio — available to take home. 🌲#strangerfolkes #witchtales #darkfolklore #sketchart #curiositycabinet by @strangerfolkes
