NWA: Worth the wait? 🌊

This is the @straum × @therealtime.show Jan Mayen Titanium Stormy Seas! A bit of a mouthful but thankfully also an eye full of incredible texture and detail.

Thankful to finally have this one on the wrist because photos just don’t do justice to how beautiful the dial is. Combined with a titanium case and the integrated rubber strap (which has a quick switch mechanism and can be cut-to-size), and this Jan Mayen lives up to being the rugged adventure watch it’s known to be.

This @straum is quickly becoming one of my favorite watches. I wear it more days than I don’t (my other watches are starting to file a complaint).

The dial steals the show, but honestly the comfort is the real MVP here. Grade 5 titanium case, integrated rubber strap that disappears on the wrist like it pays rent there. It’s got everything going for it, basically the whole package minus the ability to make my coffee in the morning.

And then they just had to go and drop the new Expedition. Right up my alley. Can’t wait to see it in the metal... something tells me my watch box is about to need a bigger box. 👀

Lume for legibility.

On the Straum Expedition we use it actively. Either as a fully lumed dial or as cast lume numerals, Swiss Super-LumiNova creates a stark contrast day and night, so reading the time takes no effort. by @straum
