Every October I aim to cover a hero, a black person that has contributed positively to the world of gaming.

This year, I want to honour the first black female game designer Muriel Tramis.

Check this short video out to find out why Muriel was knighted in 2018.

It might be a bit presumptuous but 2026 feels like we'll have another big cultural clash between gamers.

Ball N Gun gamers will surely ride out for GTA 6, whereas Sword and Potion gamers will definitely defend Ocarina of Time.

Which game do you think will be crowned Game of the Year for 2026?
