It was funny by itself, its even funnier sped up. Top 3 of the mini comp round and top 3 of the season attempted to do a 6 man donut after comp on Saturday and it just was not working haha.

🌩 DRIFT EVERGREEN SEPTEMBER RECAP 🌩

Who said a little rain can stop the party? Evergreen is such a fun track to watch people drive in the wet, but my god was it miserable standing out there on Saturday shooting media whenever it wasnt raining too hard. Ended up being a little too risky and got myself a little sick so decided to skip out on Sunday which was unfortunate because the weather cleared up, but gotta look out for my health too. Everyone was ripping in the wet and having a good time. Unfortunately missed out on shooting all the B group sessions because of either heavy rain or going out with A group. Also finally got to shoot one of the mini comp rounds, which throughout this entire season ive missed every single one up until this past weekend. Finally got to ride with my boy @seakot since his car let us actually go for some laps (even if we couldnt see through the windshield) which was so much fun. Got some cool ride along videos from that one to share in the coming days! Saturday was a really good time, even with all the weather. Cant wait for October!

Let this post be a reminder to make sure you give your media people AND track staff some love. Sun, rain, wind, snow, you name it we're out there in it to make sure you guys are getting some love and good times while youre driving. Appreciating the people that make events happen and capture those events goes a really long way.

Thats the end of the 2026 @lakeeriespeedway Great Lakes ProAM championship! What an incredible season its been. Congrats to Troy Manners on his 2026 Championship and @formulad ProSpec license, as well as to @fizznizzy for taking home the event win at round 4. @eli_slides took home another podium to round the season out as well. What an awesome year of competitive drifting!

Practice is underway here at @lakeeriespeedway for Round 4 of the Crosby's Great Lakes @formulad ProAM. Drivers are getting all set up on the layout and putting on one heck of a show during practice. Tune in around 2:30PM EST for the Seeding Bracket to kick things off! Of course you can also drop by your local Crosbys, grab a free ticket to the grandstands, and come hang out for the main show too! Very excited to be back up in the booth for another great day of drifting. Lets find out who the champ will be after today!

Sent Olivia on a run around OSW, a track I would struggle on due to the wall banks. The larger wheel feels great & I feel like I can place the car where it needs to be.

It all comes down to this weekend at Round 4 of the Great Lakes ProAM series. A tie for the top of the points standings going into the round, a whole bunch of fierce and rowdy competitors to face each other, yet only one of these guys will get to take home the championship and an FD ProSpec license. Will it be Troy or Theon who are currently tied for first? Will it be an upset from someone outside of their title fight? Tune in and find out this Saturday on Flo Racing!

Im super excited for this event and im ready to round out the season alongside my fellow commentators. Maybe even shoot some media while hanging out during practice. Only time will tell!

Driver Spotlight, Lawson Lightner - @thedailylawson
At just 15 years old, Lawson Lightner is already making a name for himself in the drift world.

Lawson’s passion for drifting started two years ago after attending a Formula Drift event in New Jersey. The excitement of the sport left a lasting impression, and later that year, a conversation with his dad turned into reality. After selling the Acura that was originally going to be his first car, Lawson found and purchased the car that would launch his drifting journey: a Nissan 370Z.

When asked what he loves most about being behind the wheel, Lawson keeps it simple: “It’s how good it makes me feel and how happy lam when I’m driving.”

One of his proudest accomplishments so far has been building a car that’s proven to be incredibly reliable. After 13 events without a single mechanical issue, his first breakdown only came at the most recent event, a testament to the work and dedication he’s put into the build.

Off the track, Lawson describes himself as a little shy, admitting that starting conversations isn’t always easy. But once you get to know him, his passion for drifting shines through.

One thing Lawson finds funny about his journey? He can confidently drive a manual transmission and control a car that’s sliding sideways at high speed, all while not yet having his driver’s license.

Looking ahead, Lawson’s goals for this season are focused on growth. He wants to become a more consistent driver and take the next big step in his career by competing in his first drift competition on September 26.

We’re proud to support Lawson as he continues to chase his goals and represent the next generation of drifting talent. Be sure to keep an eye on him as he takes on his first competition later this month.

🔥 MAHONING VALLEY DRIFT SEPTEMBER RECAP 🔥

Im gonna be honest, I barely did any media for this event haha. Left it up to all the media guys that signed up, but still shot a few good ones! Album will be on my story! I spent way too much time having fun learning how to run grid and then just sending people all night. We had such a fun event for September and even doubled our driver count from our first event, which is sick! Drivers looked like they were having a blast, all of us on the staff side had a blast, and the owner of the track and his crew were loving it all! Are you looking for something to do this Labor Day weekend? Do you want to enjoy some grass roots drifting in its purest form? Well come hang out with us at Mahoning Valley Drift this Saturday from 12-8 and enjoy some awesome driving and good times! Gates open at 9 am and track goes hot at noon. If youre looking to learn about drifting, or are looking to drive at your first ever event, this is the place to do it! Located a short drive from Lehigton, Mahoning Valley Speedway is a great venue with concessions and awesome vibes located out in the countryside. The skid pad style layout where drivers can practice skills, burn some rubber, and also get some tandems in. Drivers can also use the circle track down the hill for either laying some laps down or just cooling the cars down as well. At $10 to spectate and $70 to drive, it doesnt get much better than this! Come hang out with us this Saturday, go for some ride alongs, drive your car on track, or just relax and enjoy the smell of burning rubber!
