Bristol's Strongest 2026

Completed it mate ✅

Another incredible year. 50+ Athletes, over 200 people in the venue!

£385 raised for charity.

A massive thank you to everyone who competed, supported and crewed.

It wouldn't be possible without all of you, hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

I told my wife, family and friends that this year would be the last one. The mental load of organising something like this, and the physical demand across 3 days is brutal.

But seeing the amount of thank you posts and messages I've had in the last 48hrs really makes me re-consider.

Drop a 💪🏻 and a comment below if you think I should reconsider..... 👀👀 by @strongman_beardy

Forgive the cropping of the clips, I'm sleep deprived.

Mini Beard is now 11 weeks old and a chonky 6.5 kgs! Pretty impressed with myself that I carry him round all day tbh. I'm less impressed with having to do it when we're half way round Tesco and it is demanded of me though 🫠 The biceps of steel are coming!

Side note, this song is one of Oti's faves🎶 by @strongman_beardy

What a ride, so much has happened in the last seven weeks (and in the year before that to get us here, the hardest year of my life for sure).

Don't get me wrong, would be lovely to get more than 3 hours sleep, but how lucky we are. by @strongman_beardy

After a slight mishap on the points originally giving me a 4th place finish, a mistake in scoring was rectified and I took 2nd place.

EVENT 1 : Silver Dollar Max : 320kg. 🥇
Nominated 330 for a final lift but didn't need to attempt it.

EVENT 2 : 100kg Axle : 6 Reps 🥇

EVENT 3 : Tyre Flip : 12 Reps (6th)

EVENT 4 : Farmers Hold 120kg : 53.19s (6th)

EVENT 5 : Stone over bar 120kg : 6Reps 🥇 (joint)

Bit of work on grip and conditioning to be done 👌🏻💪🏻

Congrats to @lwstrongman on the win
@bjorn.ryce on the 3rd place and
@dinge_fitness_and_nutrition for the battle for top spots all day.

And everyone else in the opens class.

Thanks to everyone for the support on the day.

Too many to list but basically if you shouted "Sam" at any point, I mean you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Special mention to the best Kit B*itch anyone could ask for and number 1 fan @mrs_beardy_b

Wrap up of this week's big lifts.

For the first time in 6months I feel focussed and motivated again. 2 comps on the horizon time to add some more trophies to the shelf.

Time to dig in and be the best, strongest, me yet.
