275lbs pretty easy except at the top I had to pause to pull my beard out from under the bag by @strongmann_brian

Well one of two New Year’s resolutions complete. 286 over 55inch no tacky and it was pretty easy. Next is 405 double over hand axle deadlift by @strongmann_brian

Log press is coming along nicely with the weight cut for KSM. Can’t wait to see how it goes after a deload week and a refeed.

Fitness and training have become as natural to my daily routine as waking up and having a cup of coffee. It’s no longer something I have to do—it’s something I get to do

Mental health is an issue that far too often goes unchecked, especially among men. By opening up to family and friends and leaning into physical fitness, we can create healthy outlets to support, rebuild, and better ourselves. by @strongmann_brian

Had blast @bestrongky_gym training and figuring out weights for KSM with @hivecoachingstrength @iron_beebe by @strongmann_brian

Had absolute blast at The Queen City Showdown. All the athletes did great. It was a dog fight and awesome to compete with everyone.

Shoutout to @groggdog15 for putting up such a good fight. If I would have known you were struggling as much as me on the mat hold I would made a face 🤪 at ya.

Thank you to my wonderful wife and kids for their support. Thank you @iron_beebe and @hivecoachingstrength for getting me to the podium and a chance to take 1st. I’m immensely proud of my 🥈 finish. Now it’s time to start prep for nationals 💪🏻

Axle log medley tied 🥉

Car deadlift tied 🥈

1st place tie breaker mat hold + 25lbs 🥈 😔 by @strongmann_brian

Brian Allen, 2nd place overall at Queen City Showdown III. 🥈

32.5 points on the day and it came all the way down to a tiebreaker for 1st place.

As his coach, I couldn’t be more proud of how Brian executed today. We put a lot of work into this prep, made adjustments, attacked weaknesses, and when competition day came, he trusted the plan and performed.

5 events. Tied for 1st. One final mat hold to decide it.

Hell of a performance and an even better example of what consistent work can produce.

Proud to have Brian representing Hive Strongman. We learn, we build, and we keep moving forward.

2ND PLACE OVERALL.
