I just want to make things..

Sometimes that’s avidek, sometimes it’s a home project or a photo set from a trip. I have too many creative outlets to niche down in to one thing.. I honestly admire the people who can focus and become masters or experts in one specific field or topic… for I just want to chase and master creativity, so for now I’ll just keep posting whatever interests me 🙌🏼🎤

It’s not everyday you’re dropped in to Italy with your best friends

Being a creative person isn’t a hard job in the way that other jobs are hard. Yes it takes a lot of hard work, time and dedication but the freedom in life and expression it provides is unmatched.
The idea for this video came from reading “Try Hard” by Max Kerman and within the first few pages he drops this little nugget that got me thinking 💭

Something I’ve struggled with for a long time is separating my work from my content 🧳

Just because I’m a cinematographer doesn’t mean that everything I post has to be a reflection of my ability to create. No one actually cares whether it’s shot on an iPhone or a ARRI. Having a closet full of new trendy clothes is great but having a curated closet of things that feel uniquely you, that’s actually cool 🤙🏻
I think especially as creators we need to go out discover things for ourselves. Yah sure we can take inspiration from what we see online but I feel like to actually be able to have a fresh new perspective or style we need to curate what feels like US. taken in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia by @strykeforse
