Students STRONG has launched a book club, and we are starting off strong! Come read with us this semester, It Didn’t Start With You, by Mark Wolynn. A free PDF of the book will be in our GroupMe, under the Fall’26 Book Club topic. At the end of the semester, we will host a zoom meeting to discuss the book. 📖

“Hi guys! I am so so excited to be part of the team. Some facts about me are that I love animals; I have a cat and a dog. Plus I co-own a dog with my grandma. I am a huge nerd when it comes to mental health, psychology, Star Wars, Marvel, and Star Trek. I also have an obsession/fixation with flowers. I love reading and have read 35 books so far this year. “Hi everyone! My name is Danica and I am a junior in the college of nursing. I am honored to be Students STRONG’s Secretary for the 26-27’ school year. I love going on adventures, reading, thrifting, line dancing, and country swing dancing. I am passionate about trauma-informed care and cultivating safe spaces that promote connection and understanding. I look forward to teaching others about positive and adverse childhood experiences (PACEs), and the long-lasting effects they have on mental and physical health!
