Community trauma affects us all 😔 Our bodies, minds, and hearts feel the loss, the destruction, and the chaos. May we be kind to ourselves as we seek to be a light during a hard time ✨

💞 What is one way you show yourself kindness? Comment below to inspire other light makers 🫶🏾

Our thoughts are with all the students, staff, faculty, and community members who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene ❤️ We've been sharing various resources on our story, but wanted to share a couple of donation drives hosted across the Department of Psychology:

1. ETSU's Behavioral Health and Wellness Clinic (166 Derosier Dr., Johnson City, TN 37614) will be accepting donations TOMORROW (10/2) from 9AM-3PM! We will be delivering donated items to resource centers/shelters in the surrounding areas to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Please consider donating any water, non-perishable food items, hygiene items, or household supplies.

2. @studentsstrong_etsu is also collecting donations in Rogers-Stout, Rm 100., until Friday 10/4. See slide 2 for a list of items requested.

If you are looking for other ways to help those affected (e.g., monetary donations, volunteer work) or are in search of supportive resources for yourselves, see ETSU's website: https://www.etsu.edu/response/default.php#ways-to-get-help
