in the spring of 2025 i graduated from Northeastern University; i had an ink painting, a relief sculpture, and a stop-motion claymation displayed in the CAMD senior art show at Gallery 360 @nugallery360 . i am so so grateful to my friends and family for coming to celebrate and support me while they were on display, it was such a special experience 💗

my first VOed reel 🫣 SCARY but gotta start somewhere 🥰

i’ll be casting the mold of this relief sculpture with plaster. as a total beginner i started out by making my relief sculptures with air dry clay, a tedious and inefficient practice with the clay warping and cracking as it dried. using oil clay is lovely because i can work on it endlessly until i decide it’s ready, and i then seal it. creating a mold i can cast with plaster not only allows me to create multiple of the same piece but it also doesn’t run the risk of warping and breaking as it cures!

*edit* sorry for the squeaky sped up audio it was the same pitch when i was editing and previewing i swear 🙃 by @studio.bizzy

i am spending the holidays traveling with my family in the galapagos, and i got the incredible opportunity to teach a morning yoga class on the top deck of the boat we’re touring the islands on 🌊✨. thank you so much @hecastro2023 for making this possible and joining the class — being able to watch the sun rise over the ocean during my first teaching experience post ryt200 certification was so peaceful and surreal 🥹. thank you to my beautiful family for participating and supporting me always, and thank you marc for joining as well!! taken in Galapagos Islands, Ecuador by @studio.bizzy

one of my very favorite projects: “hope, without heat.” i made this stop-motion claymation a year ago (winter 2024). i sculpted and painted the figures with air dry clay and acrylics and built and drew the rest of the props on paper. i sat hunched under my desk for two days photographing the gradual movements of my figures. listening to my voice in the voiceover is honestly a form of exposure therapy, but i am extremely proud of the short film’s end product.
