A brick and mortar store for found objects and ceramics based out of Ahmedabad, India.

The main hall at Champa. This room houses most of our ceramics and those shelves are our canvas to play around with objects.

A room that’s not been converted to shop (yet). We meet artists, artisans and friends here and discuss art, objects, design, films, photography, etc!

It’s a room that can be absorbed into the store when the need arises but as of now this is a space for day dreaming and work, both!

FLOWER SHOP

We conclude the series with this vignette! This was the first time we shot images at night and used a flash to get these saturated colours! We hope you enjoyed these as much as we enjoyed making these pictures! Seen here is a wood fired bulbous vase by @in.the.burrow .

Shot by @bhagat.56

A heartfelt thanks to Ajay bhai from Samarth florist, Ahmedabad for letting us shoot late in the night and Amit bhai for his wizardry with flowers.

FLOWER SHOP

Amit bhai, the florist behind these arrangements! We didn’t meddle in his process because arranging flowers is instinctive to him. He was swifter than us. Before we could shoot one vignette, he would be ready with another arrangement! That’s what years of practise does.

The shop is called Samarth florist, it’s near Manasi circle, Ahmedabad.

FLOWER SHOP

Wood fired tall vases by @in.the.burrow with floral arrangements by Amit bhai from Samarth florist, Ahmedabad! Since this shop is our go to place to source flowers, we have spent a lot of time observing the working of the shop! This series is an ode to flower shops and this is the first of the many coming up in the future!
