Allow us to reintroduce ourselves.

For most of our history, Studio Freight has let a small portion of the work speak for us. Gratefully, it’s spoken to a lot of people — founders, leaders, and teams reshaping slices of the world we all live in — but it hasn’t always spoken clearly about who we are or what we believe.

So we’re changing that. We’re sharing a new brand, a new site, and the beginnings of an ecosystem of initiatives we’ve been quietly building, including The Manifest.

At the center of it all is a promise we’ve clarified for ourselves as much as for anyone else: Moving missions forward. We use strategy, design, and technology to transport our partners from where they are to where they want to be.

The work continues, as do we. We hope you’ll follow along, or work with us. by @studio.freight

Optro → Choose Optimism

Optro is trusted by more than half the Fortune 500, and 7 of the Fortune 10, to see risk coming. Every rival in governance, risk, and compliance sells the same feeling, a vigilance and fear built on the dread of the exposure you missed. We partnered with the Optro team across strategy, design, and campaign to speak to the opposite, bringing optimism into a category where nobody expected it.

Telemetric → For Solana’s Fastest Traders

BONKbot started in meme culture, but the product became something far more serious: one of the fastest trading systems on Solana, with proprietary security infrastructure and more than $10 billion in trades processed.

Telemetric was built for the people behind that activity. The traders moving in seconds, managing multiple screens, watching markets before the market knows what it is seeing. Less audience, more operator.

We created an experimental identity around that world. A glyph system built from one underlying grid to represent every trading vertical. Typography that moves between force and precision. A color system emphasizing red given depth by chrome, calibrated to avoid pure aggression without losing intensity. The art direction is shaped by anonymity, grain, red light, underground zines, and 90s album covers.

Lightfield → The Agentic CRM

After building Tome to more than twenty million users, the founding team wound it down and started over around a larger bet — an AI-native CRM that takes work off your desk instead of adding to it.

They came to us in the middle of that transformation, with a product defined by restraint and a brand still finding its public voice. Our role was to design and build across two launches, first a beta site to announce Lightfield, then a full launch site to bring the product forward.

The name was our guide: You don’t look at light, you see by it. Lightfield is meant to work the same way, present when it helps and quiet when it should disappear.

We built the site around that idea with transparency, blur, soft edges, interactive light, frosted panels, and a visual system that lets the product stay in focus without forcing attention. As the launch evolved, the design language became more cinematic, but the logic stayed the same. A product that does more by getting out of the way needed a site that could do the same.

Battleface → Pack Peace of Mind

Battleface builds travel insurance for anyone who leaves home. When the company came to us, it was carrying a promise proven across Europe into the US, a market that treats coverage as an afterthought rather than a habit. That crossing was a core fixture of the brief.

The identity features a logomark as a location pin — a symbol of the promise that wherever you go, you are on the map and never lost.

The icon system borrows from the wayfinding of airports and trailheads, turning each benefit into something recognizable at a glance.

The illustrations build whole destinations from a handful of geometric shapes — a city, a coastline, a mountain range — to represent any place in a distinct yet familiar way.

Esther → Rum is Back

For decades, the rum category has played out the same pirate and sickly-sweet clichés while tequila and gin quietly took the cultural high ground. Esther is the premium single-origin Colombian rum bringing rum back, one changed mind at a time.

With a magnetic brand built around duality, reflections, and a bright green cap you can spot across a bar, Esther asked us to build their digital presence. We wrote new rules as we designed, exploring the unexpected ways each element should behave on screen and extending the brand system to have its own internet aura.

ElevenLabs → A Store With a Voice

ElevenLabs is making voice a more natural way to use technology. For NY Tech Week, their creative team brought that idea into commerce with an online store where people could browse merch, talk through an order, and negotiate the price through conversation.

We designed the merch capsule and built the digital storefront around the same energy that defines the company — sharp, playful, and highly technical without feeling cold.

The collection gives the community a tactile connection to ElevenLabs and, with the conversational ordering experience layered in, the store becomes more than a place to buy merch. It becomes an interaction with the brand itself.

Big Mess → Letterforms

Big Mess is an ongoing experiment in intentional print-making by Nigel and Dempsey Ewan. A little over five years ago, they bought a Risograph printer and became obsessed with what it could do. The publication they built around it exists to get better at the craft of making things. It's light-hearted and unsponsored, and deliberately itself.

For the Letterforms issue, they invited us in to guest write and edit. The theme felt native to what we do without being narrow. There was room for protest lettering, tattoos, the history of type, and custom letterforms. Things a design studio touches but doesn't always get to explore on its own terms.

We're glad it's out in the world. Find your copy at bigmess.xyz/issues/letterforms. by @studio.freight

MetaMask Rewards → A Loyalty Universe

For thirty million people, MetaMask is the everything crypto wallet for buying, swapping, staking, trading, and spending. When Consensys decided to reward users for all that activity, the question wasn't whether to build a loyalty system. It was how to make one worth returning to every day. While rewards in a dashboard are nice, they don’t keep you coming back. An immersive world does.

After reframing from progress tracker to explorable universe, we had a creative thread to pull. The MetaMask team had a 3D illustration system in development, characters and environments with real personality. Once we saw those characters, the concept locked in. Instead of tiers, we'd build worlds. Seven of them, each one a different reality your character moves through as you earn. by @studio.freight

TM09 → Bringing Rum Back With Esther

Esther's founders, Emunah and Margaret, aren’t spirits-industry lifers. They come from branding, and that’s their edge. Esther, named for a Jewish biblical queen and anchored by a signature green cap, is their bet that rum's long-overdue moment won't be won by the biggest budget, but by the purest point of view.

In this conversation, Emunah is joined by Studio Freight designers Ken Pena and Lídia Santos, who helped translate Esther’s sensibility to the web. Together, they talk through the category, the rum, and the process of making something just weird enough to work. by @studio.freight

IYO → Hear the World According to You

Every device is fighting for our eyes. The phones in our pockets, the screens on our desks, the watches on our wrists. They’re all asking us to look away from the rooms we’re in and the people we’re with.

For sixty years, the computer has been something we stare at but IYO is building something different — a computer you talk to. One that lives in your ear and asks nothing of your attention.

Everyone has an inner world. A place where thoughts and feelings live, where identity forms, where the self goes quiet or loud depending on the noise outside. Most technology attacks that inner world, demanding and interrupting and pulling focus outward. IYO does the opposite.

It starts from the inside to make the outside better by removing the visual interface altogether. No screen, no keyboard, no friction between thought and action. This anchored our brand foundation — the idea that IYO allows you to “hear the world according to you.” by @studio.freight
