Monday Muse: Antique Pouches and Beaded Bags

Accessory or artwork? I adore these delicate evening bags that so perfectly capture the craftsmanship and fantastical imagination of another era. Each stitch, bead and motif so thoughtfully made with purpose… I really wish we lived in a time where everyday objects were made with such reverence. Starting my collection now 👛

Monday Muse: Peggy Guggenheim 🍭

Art collector, patron, tastemaker and cultural icon, Peggy Guggenheim dedicated her life to championing creativity and unconventional talent. With an eye for the extraordinary and a style entirely her own, she built one of the most important collections of 20th-century art while supporting emerging artists long before they were widely recognised. Marcel Duchamp, Henry Moore, Alexander Calder, Max Ernst, Jean Cocteau and Wassily Kandinsky are only a few of the names connected to Guggenheim.
