I’m a workaholic. Since my diagnosis, that’s gotten even worse 😅, at least with what I can still do.. The near constant productivity keeps my mind busy at all times so I can’t think about things as much. I may have this battle for life, but challenges are when I try the hardest and it’s nearing the point of an addiction so.. It’s become hard to find a balance ☯️ , especially with the last few months being incredibly odd to say the least. ✌🏻

A friend asked me about a ring in one of my stories. This is actually a different one, but my favorite. It’s a hand made Turkish Sterling Silver grade .925 and Onyx..

Turkish Silver is a lighter, more brilliant silver alloy than traditional silver. Onyx is an ancient stone, and one of the first mentioned in the Bible. It’s said to give it’s keeper power over recent illness and aids in the retention of energies. That sounded personally attractive, given how I was and am going through an un-relenting foe..

In the throws of my early condition, I found the piece and read about the historical value of Onyx. One reason I love horology is to keep a reminder of my time now left here. Small, symbolic symbols of strength keep me going these days, and the energy of this piece fits my battles often; if one believes in such things.. 💎⚡️

🌈 I shot this pic and did a majority of the work all from my phone. There was some final Photoshop cleanup in the studio afterwards, but it was minor compared to most of my projects. Be sure to check out today’s story to see the process!

For the longest time I’ve been learning and proving this craft to myself from classical standards, old and modern is much the same except for Post Editing.. My new journey is a challenge, and one to help embrace where everything started for me. My iPhone 7+ and many, many apps.. Like MEXTURES. With time, creativity and experimentation (Also, Preset Pack is ready, and on it’s way out soon, Free! Because more stuff should be! 😉🤙🏻)

Was shooting for #halfwatchtuesday but I’m always a day late and a dollar short (Slide 👉🏻 for more pics).. .

Within my collection, the Momentum Torpedo 200m Diver remains an affordable quartz piece I highly recommend to many people. For starters, the parent company St. Moritz out of Vancouver allows you to send in the watch within 2 years for regular service, and they’ll extend the warranty another 2 up to a maximum of 6 👍🏻.. It wears splendid on the wrist, even at 44 ( those lugs 🤤). The oversize crown is all business, very smooth with a nice clicky bezel to boot.. .
