@loisoharastudio isn’t just about public space, but also interiors. We translate our visual language into objects, furniture & artwork designed to be lived with.

A curve can become a handle. A shape can become a chair. A colour can set the tone for an entire room.

From a single object to a complete interior, everything exists as part of the same world. We are so excited to show you what’s coming…. 🔐 #contemporaryinterior #burgundy #interior #curvedchair taken in London, United Kingdom by @studio_chapple

The kitchen became the heart of the house.

Walnut, marble and handmade terracotta tiles create most of the character. The styling is deliberately restrained, allowing the materials to do the work.

Meet the founders behind Lois O’Hara Studio.

@loisohara is an artist and designer with a passion for creating colourful, playful spaces that bring people together. @studio_chapple comes from a background in architecture, with an eye for turning ideas into immersive, considered environments.

With our complementary backgrounds, it felt natural to bring our skills together and create something bigger.

Lois O’Hara Studio was born from a shared ambition to create better public spaces, more experiences, and more opportunities to bring art, design and people together in a comfortable way 🤲🏼 #creativestudio taken in Brighton, England, UK by @studio_chapple

Casa De Lua

A contemporary Mediterranean residence exploring light, material and atmosphere.

Designed as a complete visual study, every space was developed with the same attention to architecture, interiors and editorial composition.

Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing more of the house.

Recently completed visuals for The Tanyard, Ashford.

A new residential neighbourhood that reconnects a key town centre site through new homes, public spaces and pedestrian routes.

A great project to help bring to life, developing a suite of imagery that communicates both the architecture and the wider public realm.

Recent residential project set within a rural site.

We worked on establishing the material palette early. Timber internally and out. And focused on getting the light and layout to feel calm and considered.

Really enjoyed shaping the central living space and hearth.

Here’s the project that kicked it all off for me and @loisohara

An open call for a housing development in Portslade, where we translated her 2D work into carved stone for the first time.

We worked with a local stonemason to make it happen — figuring out how line, depth and weight could hold up physically.

That process of turning graphic work into something built has shaped how we’ve collaborated ever since.
