Behind the arched door: Bar Coyo.

Coyo Taco’s hidden speakeasy takes on a darker, more intimate character, with rich reds, warm timber and low lighting throughout. Twenty exclusive tequila lockers for keyholders are integrated into the back bar display, alongside a dedicated sound system and vinyl collection, with the DJ built into the heart of the bar, setting the tone for late nights at Bar Coyo.

Introducing Coyo Taco London - the first UK restaurant for the Miami taqueria.

Born in Wynwood, Miami’s Latin arts neighbourhood, with roots in Coyoacán, Mexico City, Coyo Taco brings both influences to its new London home.
Raw textures, bold colour and tropical planting set the tone, layered with Mexican and Miami influences throughout. A graffiti wall hosts local artist residencies, inviting artists to create murals inspired by Wynwood’s art scene, while a hand-painted arched door leads through to a hidden speakeasy...

Blacklock, Birmingham.
Set within a former Victorian vicarage, overlooking St Philip’s Square, we built on the character of the existing building and its rich history. Original architectural features were carefully retained and restored, while new layers - including reclaimed panelling, textured finishes and vintage furniture and lighting - were introduced to create a timeless interior that feels at home and full of character.

In collaboration with @sofiaceramics we designed bespoke pendants that explore form and texture - each one uniquely shaped by hand in their London studio. Located at the base of the sculptural Cadence Court development, inspired by Bubala’s name (Yiddish term translated to “darling,” often used by grandmothers), our design evokes feelings of warmth, love, and comfort. It seamlessly blends the vibrant energy of Middle Eastern kitchen traditions with contemporary sustainability, creating a space that feels both timeless and full of charm. The space is crafted with texture and character including rough plaster, reclaimed timbers and artisan tiles coming together to create an inviting, homely atmosphere. Every material has a story, reflecting authenticity and connections. Bubala isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a unique part of the community, built to gather, share, and savour. Open now ✨
