A moment between spaces within the hotel's Function and Conference centre, giving this often overlooked part of a venue its own sense of arrival.

Level 3’s breakout concourse and function bar was designed as a considered pause before entering the function spaces beyond.

A striking back bar with warm timber against bold tiles and softly glowing light.
The softness of the bar front sits quietly against this with a fluted jade marble mosaic tile.

The expansive concourse planter provides a lush backdrop from the event spaces with use of real greenery and subtle timber battens, sitting within a rendered venetian plaster planter.

A space designed to make even the moments between events feel considered.

Enjoying the arrival experience and the moments that lead into a treatment were important considerations of the overall design.

Soft, natural linen drapery sets the background while warm ambient lighting enhances the corridor wall textures, adding to the layering of materials.

Hi 👋 I'm Taryn, the face behind Studio Raso.
I've never loved being in front of a camera and it's much easier to hide behind the project shots...but I figured it's about time you put a face to the name.

I've worked across a few different commercial Interior Design sectors, but Hospitality is where most of my experience sits and still my biggest passion. No two projects are ever the same, and I love that variety!

I'm a big believer in getting on site and talking directly with builders and trades. The best solutions often come from a conversation on site, not what's drawn on the page. I try to keep the process relaxed and simple, bringing a positive approach without the drama.
