Defined by a restrained geometry, this piece explores the tension between load-bearing logic and visual lightness. Function and form are inseparable, resulting in a lounge chair defined by structural logic and enduring performance.

Crafted from solid oak, the construction is reduced to its essential elements allowing material, proportion and comfort to lead.

This lounge chair is designed for interiors where structure is not concealed, but articulated.

Robust elegance. The Techno Collection is an ode to classical woodworking practises.

Proven techniques applied in contemporary design.

The clearly visible hinged joinery makes the table seem to move. Giving it a playfullness and lightness while the table is rugged enough to last generations.

Looking back on a very special Belonging Breakfast during GLUE 2026.

“Where there is bread, there is often a table. Where there is a table, there is connection.”

Together with TANK, we gathered around the table for good food, inspiring conversations and fresh perspectives on what it means to belong.

A big thank you to our speakers John Maatman, Esther Jongsma and Pernille Kok-Jensen for sharing their perspectives and sparking the conversation.

🥐 Special shoutout to Superkop and Frecious for helping us bring everyone together around the table.

And to all the talented designers behind SOLIDIFIED: Bas Pattyn, JO Studio, Objects by Marie, Sanne Kaal, Studio Beeks, Studio Vocum, VANTOT and ZOWA thank you for bringing the exhibition to life.

And most of all: thank you to everyone who joined us. 🤍

Because sometimes, belonging simply starts with sharing a table.

What a wonderful experience at @glue.amsterdam

I feel truly grateful to have been part of this inspiring design event and to present my work at @tank_amsterdam

It was a real pleasure to meet so many wonderful people — designers, creatives, visitors and design lovers — and to share conversations, energy and inspiration.

A heartfelt thank you to TANK Amsterdam for welcoming me so warmly, and to GLUE Amsterdam for creating such a beautiful platform where design, creativity and connection come together.

I return home inspired, grateful and full of new energy.

Thank you, Amsterdam.
Until next time.

Marie

Introducing Studio Beeks

Studio Beeks combines traditional woodworking with a precise, almost architectural approach to design.

Working with solid wood, their pieces reveal structure and joinery as an essential part of the form.

For ECHO, they present a bench made from residual materials, where their refined jointing technique supports and complements the design.

Introducing @studiobeeks

Studio Beeks combines traditional woodworking with engineering precision. Working with long-seasoned oak, historic materials and applying time-honored craftmanship to create expressive pieces that balance material honesty with structural clarity. Each piece is carefully constructed to highlight the natural qualities of the wood and ensure longevity.

Can't wait for next week.

This Tuesday the 21st till sunday the 26th of april the Techno Lounge Chair and Side Table will be presented at @solidified_fuorisalone!

Solidified is a collaboration between @sannekaal
@d.m.heldt. Sanne is a curator who has truly made a mark with her keen eye for material and form. David has a deep love for design and for Milan in perticular. He aims to connect people to design through his company @connecting_.the._dots.

Together they have set up a beautiful exhibition in the heart of Milan and I am honored to be a part of it.

This week will also be very exciting because it is my international debut!

Hope to see you there!
