A little Christmas magic at Sheba Acres.

I just had the sweetest Christmas session here with The Kirchner family, and I’m not going to lie… it has me READY for all the Christmas spirit, twinkle lights, cozy traditions, and nostalgia that comes with this time of year.

There’s just something about Christmas photos that feels different. Maybe it’s because we know how quickly our kids grow, how fast the seasons change, and how these little moments become the memories we hold onto.

@shebaacres is such a beautiful setting for that kind of session — warm, festive, and full of that nostalgic Christmas feeling.

And yes… I’ll be opening up a limited number of Christmas sessions at Sheba Acres this season! ❤️

There are places that feel a little bit like a secret.

Sheba Acres is one of those places!

I had the joy of returning for a second shoot with one of my beautiful seniors, Campbell, and this time I found myself just as captivated by the setting as I was by the girl in front of my camera.

Rows and rows of flowers, perfectly tucked into the landscape with clover growing between them. Butterflies floating from bloom to bloom. Bees humming through the gardens. A beautiful greenhouse catching the light. An old-fashioned stick-built barn that feels like it was made for photographs.

It’s all so beautifully cared for, yet still feels natural and completely at home in the countryside.
And that’s what I love most about Sheba Acres—it isn’t just a pretty backdrop. It has a feeling.

A place for senior portraits, family sessions, branding, editorial work, or simply creating something beautiful for the sake of creating. The greenhouse and barn are available to rent for photographers and creatives, making this little flower farm such a special setting for a session.

And while you’re there, stay awhile. Pick your own flowers, wander through the gardens, stop by the farm stand for freshly cut blooms, and don’t leave without trying some of their sourdough goodies.

There is something so lovely about a place that grows beautiful things—and invites you in to enjoy them.

A little September magic, celebrating two beautiful souls. 🤍

Dustin & Alyssa’s wedding day was everything a September day should be — flowers in bloom, lush greenery, the sweetest hint of cooler air, and a whole lot of love.

The laughter was contagious, the joy was unmistakable, and everywhere you looked, there was something beautiful unfolding.
Some days feel a little more magical than others, and this was certainly one of them.

There are some people who just step in front of the camera and somehow make it look completely effortless.

That was SAVANNAH

She was such a natural from the very beginning—comfortable, confident, and completely herself. Nothing felt forced, and so many of the moments we captured were simply her being her.

And I think that’s one of my favorite things about senior sessions. Getting to remind these girls just how beautiful they are—not because they have to pose perfectly or look a certain way, but because there is something so special about who they are becoming.

Savannah, you made my job easy. 🤍 You are absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and I hope these photos always remind you of this season of your life and the confidence you carried into it.

Some homes are beautiful. And then there are the homes that make you want to slow down and stay awhile. 🤍

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a recent project with @hannahtyler_home in Michigan—a cottage Hannah and her husband, Tyler, renovated as their little piece of Michigan for the summer months.

Although they call Florida home, they spend their summers here, and this cottage feels like the perfect reflection of that slower, lighter way of living.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered. The spaces are bright and coastal, but never cold. Beautiful, but still incredibly warm and welcoming. Natural textures, soft colors, collected pieces and all the little details that make a house feel like home.

Hannah and Tyler have created something really special, and I always look forward to seeing what they’re dreaming up next. Their design has this effortless coastal brightness that makes you want to open the windows, let the light in, and stay awhile.

It was such a joy to photograph this space and collaborate with them again. There’s something pretty magical about photographing a home where every detail tells a story—and this one certainly did. ✨

I recently had the joy of photographing a branding session for Stephanie at her beautiful flower farm, and I’m not sure I could have dreamed up a more peaceful setting.

Sheba Acres is a flower farm, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a lush, beautiful property filled with rustic buildings, gardens, flowers, and the kind of quiet beauty that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

And Stephanie💛 You can feel the heart and passion she pours into this place. Every little detail reflects the love and care she has for her farm and for the people who experience it.

There was something about Olivia that made her senior session feel effortless. 🤍

A little bit country, throw in an elegant beauty, and completely herself. She’s a free spirit, easygoing, and has the kind of laugh that is absolutely contagious. Once we started laughing, the rest of the session just seemed to flow.

I really appreciate girls like Olivia. Girls who take life for what it’s worth not too serious, but still grounded. Just down-to-earth, present, and genuinely enjoying whatever life brings their way.

And I think that’s what makes a portrait truly beautiful…when you can see the person behind the smile.
