🐣🍋‍🟩 One more book design for The Italians 🐰 this time, a catalogue celebrating the incredible producers behind the food and wine served across Giorgio’s restaurants, delis and wine bars. 🐝🥬 As with many of our collaborations with him, we were given complete creative freedom. 🦚🍐 We proposed an approach that was as analogue as possible while using digital tools. 🐩🫚 The team designed over 100 spreads, guided by chance and play, treating each page as if it were a paper collage. 🦔🍈 The result is a catalogue where every spread has its own character while forming part of a larger whole. 🦄🍑 The book was launched in Prague this May, where producers travelled from across Italy to cook, taste and celebrate together. 🦋🍆 The last image captures Fran and Giorgio marking the launch in the only appropriate way 🐬🥝 with champagne all over the book. 🪲🫜 Bergini project team: Francesco, Marcus, Lucrezia, Marta 🪿🫛Special guests: Michael Kelly, Margherita Sabbioneda 🦎🫐 typeface by Rob Janes 🥚 taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @studiobergini

🐑🧀Design for a book about CHEESE by Jiří Giorgio Jelínek 🌜 founder of The Italians..🌛 a family of delis, wine bars and bakeries across Prague, London and Rome 🧚‍♀️🫕 Conceived as a response to ultra-processed cheese culture and the disappearance of traditional cheesemaking across Italy. 🍼🧌 Giorgio wrote the book and shot over 500 photographs across Italy 🐏 arriving to us with one brief: 🐄🤠 “Do whatever you want ‼️ just don’t make it look like a cheese book.” 🌞🪤 Launched at the Estorick Collection alongside the opening of an 8-year-aged wheel of Storico Ribelle 🧀 Big shout to Niamh for all the care and attention designing this slab 🧝‍♀️ taken in Italia by @studiobergini

🔔Website design as part of our rebrand for @asymmetryartorg 🪭💌 Built as an interconnected system with a flexible structure that continuously repurposes content all driven by a solid 📦📬 flexible backend magically engineered by @felixsteindl and @niamh.thompson 🪩📯 video of @marcus.kerr casually scrolling the site has not been shot in Venice but on the River Lea in East London 🧸🖼️ Just to keep the scroll scrolling we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the 125 page guideline beautifully written and edited by @niamh.thompson and @martacaccia 🛁🔮 taken in River Lea Navigation by @studiobergini

🍓🫧 Rebrand for Asymmetry, an independent arts foundation supporting curators and researchers with Chinese and Sinophone backgrounds. 🔮🔭 Conceptually drawing from academic tools and research practices: dictionary structures, highlighters, index tabs, filofax and marginalia, the identity foregrounds methods of reading, annotating and understanding. 🗝️🗞️

🌵🐢Visual identity and tone of voice for Meadow 🐛🍀 @workfrommeadow a new co-working concept from @masonfifth 🌳🦜 that feels part living room, part workplace, part nature walk 🍋‍🟩🔫 We leaned into the calm but playful and slightly absurd energy of the name🥬🐸 using humour, nostalgia and a gently cheeky tone to sidestep the usual co-working space tropes.🪲🐍 Through the use of vintage nature imagery 🌿🍏 wildflower colours, and type inspired by park signage and holiday postcards 🦖🌴 we situated Meadow as a working vacation destination;🐊⛳️ a workplace you want to spend time in 🪀🦚⌨️🐒Thanks to @harold__bennett for supporting the team on this one! 🔠 Cornbread by @maxitype_com Focal by @commercialtype taken in Westbourne Park by @studiobergini

🖨️📖 lil riso publication for our friends @londonbookarts 🧝‍♀️ ‘Themerson & Themerson: Gaberbocchus Press 1948–1979’ Exhibition. Featuring folds 🗺️, a bunch of dragons 🐉 and an essay by Harriet Neville. 📰✨ The exhibition celebrates Gaberbocchus Press, an avant-garde 🤪 publishing house 🛖 founded and run collaboratively by Franciszka and Stefan Themerson in London between 1948–79.🦶🔏 Together they published and illustrated ✍️ more than sixty titles ✍️✍️✍️ over thirty-one years, 🐝🌝 introducing seminal experimental European writers to a British audience. 🌍🔮 The free show closes this Saturday! 🆓🔚🔜⏰🦺#lilrisothing taken in London Centre for Book Arts by @studiobergini
