Book design of ,i let you win‘ by Trần Quang Đại.

In ‚i let you win‘, Trần Quang Đại (@tranquangdai) presents a long-form poem and reading object composed of fragments gathered over time. The repeated phrase „i let you win“ shifts as you move through the work - tender, tired, forgiving, ironic, accepting - until it becomes less a statement than a practice. At its core, „i let you win“ is about an inquiry into care, vulnerability, and a way of living that does not need to dominate, putting the ego aside.
Shaped by post-war Việt Nam and its afterimages, the poem moves through what conflict leaves behind rather than conflict itself. It also responds to a contemporary condition of speed, loneliness, and fragmentation by offering slowness, listening, and presence as quiet forms of care.

We are glad to announce the launch of 𝙄 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙣, a poetry book and ongoing artistic project by artist and poet Trần Quang Đại, presented through a site-responsive installation at the Museum of the Home, London.

Beginning with the question 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴?, I let you win is a year-long collection of tender, solitary and collective moments exploring care, vulnerability, memory and the ways we live with one another. Through sparse language, repetition and blankness, the book considers the small negotiations of everyday relationships: when we hold on, when we yield, and what it means to make space for another.

For its launch, the publication extends beyond the page into a site-responsive installation, placing the intimacy of the book within the Museum of the Home; a space where private lives, domestic histories and personal memories are collected and encountered.

Trần Quang Đại FRSA (b. 1992, Việt Nam) is a conceptual artist and poet with a background in criminal law. Trained in Contemporary Art Practice at the Royal College of Art, London, his work brings together traditional media and socially reflective methods to navigate the silent spaces between ethics, belonging and the unseen architectures of power. Rooted in experiences of post-war Việt Nam and informed by post-internet thinking, his practice engages with questions of memory, identity and resilience, inviting reflection on the convergences of the self and the social.

𝗔 𝗚𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲
A limited number of copies of I let you win will be available to purchase for £100, with all proceeds donated to @childrenandwar.uk . Extending the project’s gesture of care beyond the space of the book, the donation supports the organisation’s work with children affected by war and other traumatic events, creating space for them to process their experiences and begin rebuilding a sense of safety and connection.

A chromatic system in motion.
The site shifts its entire atmosphere through color – mirroring Illya Goldman Gubin’s works, which always exist in multiple colorways.

A draggable widget anchors the experience: filtering artworks, exhibitions, RTW, and interviews while guiding this transformation.

"My art is radical and has something aggressive about it. I need something dark and Avant Garde."

The new website is not a frame – it's a threshold. A space shaped to reflect Goldman Gubin's artistic practice, where boundaries dissolve: thought and emotion, science and mysticism, past and future.

Designed to move beyond the surface, it invites the viewer into a slow, sensory experience. Each interaction becomes part of a wider dialogue – between the self and the unknown, the imperfect and the essential.

Like the artist's installations, the site holds tension and tenderness. It preserves the rawness of the medium while offering a structure that feels both enigmatic and intuitively navigable.

#Howareyouthesedays?
The world is on fire, but we have each other.

The installation spreads an urgent yet hopeful message: love transcends boundaries. It serves as a metaphor for connection over segregation, addressing the fragmentation caused by current geopolitical instability.

@ditroit_dream is a space for wandering minds, street-facing, transparent gallery, the artwork is freely accessible to all, oﬀering a direct and barrier-free experience for everyone passing by. This openness reflects the spirit of the piece, which seeks to connect rather than divide.

As the curator of the show states, “What happened is, we grew lonely, living among the things, behind the borders we set against each other. And we hope this installation serves as a reminder that even in these politically and environmentally challenging times—when the world is on fire—we still have each other.”
