POSTS STORIES REELS
Alexia Marmara is a researcher, curator, archivist and writer specialising in uncovering the uncelebrated. She focuses on stories that are left untold in an effort to correct bias in narratives within the history of art and culture. She centres the humanisation of archival objects in order to speak of fragile stories. Her process defies the drawbacks in our institutionalised systems of remembering and collecting as she prioritises breathing alternatives to our silencing modes of representation within historical research. She is the instigator of the excavation of Mexican painter Froylán Ojeda (1932-1991) whose significant career has been practically erased from contemporary discourse. Working with oral histories and archival investigation she is the first researcher to compile a written biography of the artist’s life and œuvre. Safe travels @alexia.marmara and see you soon. by @studiolazcano
@marijselceramics is a London based Mexican artist and graduate from the Royal College of Art. She explores personal narratives through intricate and small porcelain flowers sculptures. Individually caressed as delicately and thinly as possible, her autobiographical pieces, often situated between memory and fantasy, emerge as intimate, tactile forms that retain her skin imprints. Vulnerable and fragile, yet unexpectedly strong, her flowers appear on the verge of breaking, whilst they stubbornly stand. Shaped by repetition and ritual, her pieces become embodied narratives of emotion and care that encourage contemplation in intimacy. Her flowers are small and deliberately barely visible. They are meant to be found, revealing a world of intricate detail. She invites us to shift our gaze from the dazzling and loud to the small and often unnoticed: from the outside chaos, to our inner worlds _ Raíces nómadas 2026 Porcelana, acero inoxidable, resina 389 x 93 cm by @studiolazcano

@n__a_dia is a graphic designer and ceramic artist. Her practice unfolds through wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques, through which she creates forms that move between the functional and the sculptural. Drawing from a close observation of nature, particularly floral forms and gardens, she creates objects in which ceramics become connected to memory, affection, and everyday gestures. Rather than reproducing natural elements, she seeks to translate their rhythms, structures, and fragilities through ceramic processes. Her work exists in a space of dialogue between design and artistic practice, where attention to form and making processes opens up a space for observation, remembrance, and connection with everyday life. She has been selected for two consecutive editions of the National Ceramics Award, taking part in the award’s group exhibition in 2025 and 2026. She is currently continuing her research into ceramics, flowers, and material memory, where matter serves as a meeting point between nature, experience, and remembrance. _ Reina de la Noche 2026 Cerámica de alta temperatura 28 x 13 cm by @studiolazcano

Toska’s vessels evoke a Brutalist sensibility through their assertive geometry and earthy textures, in dialogue with the Japanese concept of ma: a charged tension between sculptural mass and restraint, giving the works their commanding presence. by @studiolazcano
Born in Argentina and based in Mexico City, @riverrmss makes sculptural pottery that traces the relationship between organic form, materiality, and space. Her approach to form and composition has been cultivated by a multidisciplinary path. Florencia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in 2016, followed by furniture design at Centro University in Mexico City, Japanese woodworking in Oaxaca, and further studies on the matter in Japan. Her journey with clay began with Camila Apaez of Ila Cerámica and was forged at Fósforo, a small pottery studio near her home, and has since continued largely on her own, shaped by trial, community, and the slow emendation of the clay itself. Florencia’s work reflects a dialogue between Mexican traditional craft, Japanese simplicity, and contemporary architectural design, yielding objects that hold function and sculptural presence in balance. _ Florencia Serrao Untitled 2026 High temperature ceramic by @studiolazcano
La obra de Toska tiene sus raíces en la artesanía mexicana y se inspira en el refinamiento japonés.
