The road ahead… Two weeks from now I’ll be on the other side of the country with my CMD stash in tow and a rather unhinged schedule. Here’s where I’ll be. Thursday October 23rd, a limited day of Custom and Reconstruction appointments at Abode in Half Moon Bay. I have just a handful of spots available so grab one while they last. Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th, the Abode pop-up, 11 to 4 both days. No appointment, just come hang at The Ring Bar. Don’t be surprised if there’s a dance party at some point. Then San Francisco, November 6th and 7th at Yonder. And before I go anywhere, CMD Open Hours this Saturday October 17th, 10 to 4 in Asbury Park if you want to talk about a project before I head west. I love my CMD family from East to West and every town in between. Where are you based? Tell me in the comments, I want to hang with you in real life!! #halfmoonbay #sanfrancisco #asburypark by @studiolindafahey

Marble Series @StudioLindaFahey . “A process that takes time, muscle, and patience.” Ceramic artist Linda Fahey layers contrasting clays to create a richly patterned body of material, then forms it into functional vessels and hand-carves the surface to reveal the striations and patterns concealed within, making every vessel entirely unique. . What a time we had yesterday, celebrating Linda Fahey! You know it’s a special day when we are so busy connecting, learning and living in the moment that we didn’t take pictures during the event. Thank you Linda for creating the most wonderful collection for the Atelier! The more we study the pieces the deeper we fall in love. You have outdone yourself. Truly amazing. If you didn’t have a chance to join us yesterday, don’t despair! There are still many wonderful pieces available. We will have the show up through September. This is a collection that is even better in person, come see these magical creatures for yourself Tuesday - Friday 10:30 - 5:00pm and Sundays 11:00am - 2:00pm. taken in KMD Antiques & Design Atelier by @studiolindafahey

We are honored and SO excited to announce our Fall Event “Floriana & Fauna” with artist and architectural ceramicist, Linda Fahey, on Thursday, September 10th. Our love for Linda’s work began in 2013. Linda has become a longtime collaborator of Kari McIntosh Design, creating the beloved snakes and majolica inspired floral vases for our 2018 and 2019 San Francisco Decorator Showcase rooms, respectively. Linda has been creating a special show for the Atelier. “Floriana & Fauna” kicks off with a celebratory opening show September 10th. Come meet Linda and hear more about her process and inspiration. This will be an afternoon to remember. RSVP to hello@karimcintoshdesign.com taken in KMD Antiques & Design Atelier by @studiolindafahey

Well hello folks! I’ve been off, completely off, Instagram for nigh on two months. I will do a round of stories going through what I’ve been up to, but let me just say it was unbelievably refreshing. There are of course countless user styles on this app, artists and business owners use it with more purpose possibly than a more passive user — it’s a wide ranging discussion for another day. Anyway, for me, it was an unplanned divesting and it was like getting out of jail. There was a whiff of freedom attached to the whole thing. I highly recommend full offery! As a result, I’m curbing significantly how and more importantly, how much, I will be here. The new website is working well, it’s beautiful and there is a lot to look at, please sign up for any emails and announcements I may be sending out, and feel free to email me directly. I encourage that kind of contact. Thanks to all the new followers here! Welcome, I appreciate your interest. by @studiolindafahey

A visit to @studiolindafahey’s studio offered a closer look at her process in motion. Sculptural vessels, hand-built ceramic details, and works in progress reveal a practice that is tactile, measured, and unhurried. Each visit leaves us with a renewed sense of inspiration. And, more often than not, a reluctance to leave empty-handed. We’re continuing our collaboration on an upcoming Sonoma project, where her work will become an integral layer within the home. by @studiolindafahey

The work of @studiolindafahey has found its way into many of our projects over the years. From her San Francisco studio, Linda creates handcrafted ceramic pieces that bring warmth, texture, and an organic sense of character to the spaces they inhabit. Her work sits beautifully between art and function, becoming a meaningful layer within the homes we design. We’re currently collaborating with Linda on a large-scale Sonoma residence and look forward to sharing more of the story soon. Stay tuned. taken in San Francisco, California by @studiolindafahey

Framed Tiled Artwork @studiolindafahey . Hand-built ceramic tiles in varied shapes, textures, and deep tonal glazes come together in this one-of-a-kind wall installation by Linda Fahey. Drawing inspiration from the Northern California coast, Fahey creates a dynamic, sculptural composition that shifts between glossy, matte, and patterned surfaces. The result is a richly layered artwork that feels both organic and meticulously composed. . Available through COUP D’ETAT Showrooms. taken in COUP D'ETAT by @studiolindafahey
