Sometimes we tell stories to prove to ourselves that we exist

On Sunday, after 6 long and arduous months, we wrapped production on our 2ND feature length film LIMITATIONS OR: A DISRUPTION IN THE CONTINUITY OF A DREAM, two days after laying my Nana to rest, after an even longer and even more arduous bout with cancer.

On the last day, the last shot, the last seconds of the last battery—let alone being a 2 mile hike away from the car — and the camera died in the middle of the take.

We stood, not in despair, maybe confusion, Taj and Iman and I, for a minute or two, until Taj flipped the switch again.
The camera came back on, and Iman gave us her best take.
