Studio Palatin is coming to Paris!

We are delighted to announce our upcoming exhibition at Galerie Anne Jacquemin Sablon during Paris Art Week, from October 21–25. @annejacqueminsablon

The exhibition will bring together the complete Surculus collection, alongside the new Lucerna collection and selected pieces from other collections, showcasing Barbara Palatin-Doyle’s sculptural approach to lighting and design.

This fall, Studio Palatin returns to @homofaber, the international biennial celebrating the finest contemporary craftsmanship and rare artisanal expertise. Founded by Vienna-born artist and designer Barbara Palatin-Doyle, Studio Palatin creates sculptural lighting and collectible objects that reinterpret the traditions of European decorative arts through a distinctly contemporary lens.

Drawing on a background in decorative painting and patination, Barbara also serves as a docent for the Decorative Arts Department at The @metmuseum, bringing a deep knowledge of historical craft traditions to her practice. Living and working between Vienna and New York, she continues to build a body of work that bridges heritage and innovation, fine art and functional design.
