As an actor, you can embody so many characters and still bring something only you can give. That’s what I love to capture: the person behind the roles, and the presence that’s entirely their own 📸

Some people leave a mark through what they create. Others through the way they make people feel.
Tony did both.

I took these photos around 10 years ago, back when I was working at @barcinomanagement in Barcelona and we had the privilege of representing him. Tony James was one of those people whose passion completely filled the room. Dance wasn’t just something he did… it was part of who he was.

Tony devoted his life to dance and cheer, performing on Broadway, touring with some of the biggest recording artists in the world, and appearing on television and in films. He also founded Cheer Up World, which became one of Europe’s biggest dance and cheer festivals. But beyond all the achievements, what people truly remember about him was his energy, his kindness and the joy he brought to others through his art.

Looking back at these images now feels special. There was so much light, talent and joy in him, and I think that energy still lives inside these photographs.

And somehow, these feel like the perfect images to begin this new chapter and new content direction for @sturlesestudios. A celebration of artistry, passion and the people who leave something meaningful behind.

Honoured to have captured a small piece of his journey🤎 taken in London, United Kingdom by @sturlesestudios
