Happy Birthday to the best President in the league, Jason Kilic! 🎂💙

We might be biased, but we reckon we’ve got the President other clubs wish they had. Passionate about the Double Blues, big on club spirit and never afraid to take centre stage! 🎤🤘

He already thinks he’s a rockstar, so today we are letting him have the spotlight. 😉

Thanks for everything you do for our club, Jason. Have a birthday worthy of an encore!

Today marks the 24th anniversary of the Bali bombings, the saddest day in Sturt Football Club’s history.

On 12 October 2002, the attacks claimed 202 lives, including 88 Australians, and injured a further 209 people.

Sturt players and officials were at the Sari Club, celebrating the Club’s 2002 SANFL premiership. In an instant, celebration turned to tragedy.

We lost Josh Deegan, a young player with his life ahead of him, and Bob Marshall, our much-loved trainer and past player. Nineteen members of our travelling group were injured, and some never played for the Club again.

Josh and Bob’s legacy lives on through the Josh Deegan Medal for the Reserves Best & Fairest and the Bob Marshall Award, presented at our annual Best & Fairest event.

Today, we remember Josh and Bob, all those who lost their lives, and everyone whose life was forever changed. Our thoughts remain with their families, friends, teammates and the survivors.

Gone, but never forgotten. Forever part of the Double Blue family. by @sturtfc

A special connection to Sturt, and now a new chapter begins. 💙🩵

For @eloise.mackereth , pulling on the Double Blue carries plenty of meaning - with her dad, grandpa and great uncle all having represented the Club.

Now she’s ready to make her own mark at Unley in 2027.

Welcome to Sturt, Eloise
