Another @nasautah quad duro down and this one was a tough one. The first session of the weekend I started lifting the head and coolant pressure spiked after one lap. Went out the second session knowing I might have 1 lap to get the job done. I was able to get a single lap in after the coolant temp was higher than ide like to admit 🙈. I was able to do a 3:01.2 on full track which is 6 seconds faster than my PB. What a testament to how far the car has come in a year since the last time we ran full track!
I was also able to manage a sub 2 minute lap on outer track in the one lap wonder, which is a huge milestone for the car and has been a goal I've had for a long time! by @stygmafab

What an incredible weekend at @nasautah round 4. East track has always been my nemesis in this car with it being tighter and more technical than west. Saturday the track was super hot, windy, and the grip wasn't great on my used AO52's causing a lot of understeer. Despite the conditions I was able to beat my personal best by .8 seconds with a 1:39.1 which was good enough for 2nd place in TT2.
Saturday my new Toyo R's, that I've been waiting 3 months for, showed up while I was at the track so Sunday morning i quickly mounted them in hopes of improving and oh man did I improve. The track conditions were much better and temps were down. I knew I only had a couple laps to put down a flyer before I caught traffic with TT all run group on half track.
On the out lap the rears were loose which was a nice change from the previous day. Once I got some heat in them the car was rotating perfectly. On my first hot lap I was able to put down a 1:37.5! I couldn't believe the grip I had and effortless rotation. I knew there was still more out there so I kept pushing on another flyer. Braking deeper, carrying more corner speed, taking advantage of the rotation by getting on the gas even sooner. I couldn't believe my eyes when I crossed the finish line and a 1:36.9 popped up on my Aim Dash! This was over 2 seconds faster than my Personal best that i did the day before. Not only did I beat my PB but this was also fast enough to Take home 1st 🥇 in class!!!

Last event the car was finally reliable enough to actually see how the new @motioncontrolsuspension 3 way shocks are and holy shit it is a night and day difference! It's so gripped up and handles the curbs flawlessly. Enough so that I was able to PB by 2.5 seconds while being down 150hp. Get at me If you're wanting to get into a set of high end race shocks as I am a dealer for them now. by @stygmafab

@nasautah Round 3 recap 🏎️💨

Two days before the event, the transmission was still in pieces after 4th gear let go last round and ran shrapnel through the whole thing. Somehow managed to get it rebuilt with the new GearX gearset just in time to make the event.

Then the weekend threw another curveball. I started having boost controller issues that kept sending the turbo into overboost and hitting boost cut, so I ended up shutting it off completely and running straight wastegate pressure. That put the car down roughly 150hp — basically TT3 power levels.

Even down on power, the I still managed to beat my personal best Outer Loop time by 3 seconds with a 2:02.27.

Huge testament to how good the car feels on the new @motioncontrolsuspension 3-way shocks. This thing is absolutely on rails.

Can’t wait to see what it’ll do at full TT2 power 👀 by @stygmafab

The first NASA Utah event of the season didn't quite go as planned. I kept having issues with the CV axle boot popping off and ejecting all the grease out into the engine bay and onto the exhaust. Luckily I had the inconel heat shielding on it so nothing caught on fire. I was able to get a new clamp back on It but then lost abs and the boot popped off again. Sunday I was able to set a east track pb with a 1:39.9 without abs then on the cool down lap the axle finally killed the bearings from going dry so many times. Hopefully we can get all these issues resolved before the next event in two weeks. by @stygmafab

Exhaust complete for @planandres 3.0L VR6 swapped Caddy truck. This thing is getting close to hitting the road. Don't tell him that though. I don't need him nagging me to get it done anymore than he already does 😅 by @stygmafab
