After an extremely hard fought weekend, we managed to capture a P1 on Sunday! At the very last event of the season, on the last day and the last session, I had to put a lap in to secure it! My class competitors made sure of it! After losing brakes on my second lap of the day Saturday, it took me out for the rest of the day. I spent all the rest of the day sourcing parts to have the car ready for Sunday and it paid off. Huge shout out to my buddy Anthony and @stern_94 for letting me borrow their parts to secure the win! Thank you @nasautah and @thewestdesert for hosting this season and making it unforgettable as always! Until next year, friends!

We went out to @kearneyraceway to do my licensing passes. Went 8.513@167mph with the boost controller shut off in 4th gear.@cgracing801 did his thing on the laptop, Big thanks to him for getting the car where it’s at today and everything he does for us. 🙏💯❤️

Update from @nasautah Round 4.

The weekend was a brutal battle against overheating, capping most sessions to just 3 flying laps. I’m also still struggling to figure out the ABS. Since I only got a handful of laps in from prior events. I still feel like I'm not utilizing the ABS to the fullest and need more seat time to break my old braking habits.

Saturday started rough. Apparently I didn't get the rear tires quite up to temp in session 1 and spun halfway through my first hot lap. The track conditions weren't ideal either which didn't help. I believe this was my first 4 off from driver error as well. 🤔 After spending my downtime cleaning a meadow of foxtails out of the radiator and intercooler, I had to start P26 for session 2. I fought through traffic to salvage a grid spot for session 3, but the heat peaked and times slowed throughout the day so there wasn't any going faster. Ended the day in P4.

Sunday was better and the track had more grip. I managed a 1:39 ish lap in the morning—about 3/4 of a second off my PB. Still, I was pretty far off the pace of the top competition. The gap is real and there's work to do. Ended the day in P4.

I've got a few upgrades planned for the coming months. Looking forward to making some updates and finding some more time.

This weekend ended up being soo bitter sweet. Thank you @nasautah for always putting on an amazing event! We finally figured out the reliability side of the car. The car turned laps until the basically corded tires and lack of brakes pads decided I was done for the weekend. It’s almost weird needing those consumables because the car has always had soo many other teething pains. Time to build a proper spares package! We’ll be back next month to really see what the #242 can do!
