Two months in, and I’m learning that purpose is often found through service. 🤍 🤍🤍 Volunteering as a certified HTS HIV Tester & Counsellor at CHAPS - Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention Studies ,has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my journey so far. Every interaction has taught me the importance of empathy, education and meeting people without judgement. 🤎🤎🤎 I’m especially passionate about challenging the stigma surrounding HIV and creating communities where people feel safe to test, ask questions and take ownership of their health. Had an incredible time on set yesterday with @sabcsport @racingtodayza 📺✨ We had a wonderful conversation exploring how different areas of my life connect…from the creative energy of fashion at this year’s Durban July, to the deeply rewarding grassroots work I do daily. During our chat, we dived into: * My Philanthropy & Advocacy: My work with @chapssouth - Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention Studies (Centre for HIV-AIDS Prevention Studies), where I serve as a qualified HTS (HIV Tester & Counselor). * Community Upliftment: The journey of founding the Simunye Netball Community, an NPO dedicated to empowering and uplifting our local youth through sport.
