Happy 4 year anniversary to the loml 🤍

We had a family photoshoot including our baby girl, Ellie! I told @_charissasoriano that I’m just yearning for whimsy in our ordinary and mundane lives, we wanted to take her to our favorite neighborhood where our relationship blossomed in the CID and visited our favorite spots like @pinkgorillagames and hing hay park.

There’s a lot that runs through my mind when being with our little family, it’s always been a challenge for me to stay present and in the moment, but Charissa captured our energy so perfectly and I’m so happy to have these photos to cherish forever.

Daniel described having our girl and watching her grow is like seeing our love in physical form. Every day our hearts just expand more and more with her with every new thing she learns. As former choir kids, she’s constantly singing and we always have to have music playing in the house, and as video game nerds, we’re excited to see the games she’ll be interested in playing. Bringing her to our favorite place felt like a full circle moment. This is where our main story quest began, and now she’s the biggest quest we’ll ever go on.

We’re so grateful for this life and we love our city so much ₊˚⊹

One year @treehousesalonseattle and the first year of being my own boss!

I’m a queer Asian American hairstylist based in Seattle! My specialities are precision hair cutting and lived-in color, and I am so thankful for all the clients I have met since day one when I was a baby stylist and the new faces I’ve seen this year. Thank you for letting me take care of you ₊˚⊹

I’m also grateful for these badass women, these whimsical treehouse fairies 🧚 Looking forward to another year searching for more whimsy ✨

oouweeee this year was hard! but one of my biggest highlights was starting my journey as an independent hairstylist. I’m so grateful for all the opportunities and talented creatives @treehousesalonseattle !!

Starting your own business is daunting yes, but I’ve been learning so much and I’m just getting started ₊˚⊹

I can’t believe we’re approaching 5 months! (maybe we’ll talk about the blood sweat tears later 😆) Thankful for all the clients returning and new, and everyone who has supported me through this new venture in my career. Hello again! ✨

Time to officially announce that I’m a new independent hairstylist @treehousesalonseattle you can call me Amy, Ames or Banh.

Tbh, I had no idea what I was getting myself into enrolling in beauty school in 2020-2021 (early pandemic days 😬) but all I knew was that I liked making people look and feel their best, and maybe folding foils in my mom’s salon as a kid gave me comfort.

I’m always a constant work in progress, and I’m starting to understand that I can show up as myself on here. I’ll be documenting my journey (might over share 🤭) That being said, the imposter syndrome is hitting me, but I’m doing my best! 🧚🏼‍♀️✨

Throughout my time building experience and clientele, I’ve learned that I’m most passionate about dimensional lived-in color and precision cutting, let me give you all the layers that give shape and bounce! As a busy mom, I love to discuss hair that would be easy to maintain over time while also looking fabulous.

Outside of the salon, I’m a mom to the silliest toddler, a singer/musician, casual gamer and cook.
