Stari grad na Konjiški gori je eden najstarejših in največjih gradov pri nas. Danes v ruševinah buri duhove in obiskovalcem odpira veličasten razgled. Med njegovimi ruševinami namesto šuma gozdov skoraj slišimo Konjiške gospode, prve lastnike gradu, in zloglasnega Ivana Erazma Tattenbacha, katerega rodbina je v njem vladala slabih 100 let.

The old Castle on Konjiška Gora is one of the oldest and largest castles in Slovenia. Today, in ruins, it stirs the imagination and offers visitors a magnificent view. Among its remnants, instead of the sound of the forests, we can almost hear the Konjice Lords, the castle’s first owners, and the notorious Hans Erasmus von Tattenbach, whose family ruled it for nearly 100 years.

Ptuj is the oldest recorded city in Slovenia, with a history spanning from the Stone Age through the Celtic era to its flourishing Roman past as Poetovio. Emperor Trajan officially named the province Colonia Ulpia Traiana Poetovio in the 2nd century AD.
Recognized globally, it was named the Best Cultural Heritage Town in Europe.
It hosts one of the world’s most vibrant and ancient carnivals called Kurentovanje featuring the UNESCO-recognized Kurenti masks.
Rising above the town stands Ptuj Castle, which watches over the city and houses exceptional collections, while beneath it lies the oldest wine cellar in Slovenia – Ptujska klet. Its origins date back to 1239, when the Minorite monks built the first cellar beneath their monastery. It is renowned for its remarkable treasury of archival wines and preserves the oldest Slovenian wine (Zlata trta from 1917).

Ptuj je najstarejše mesto v Sloveniji z zgodovino, ki sega od kamene dobe prek keltskega obdobja do razcveta v rimskem času kot Poetovio. Cesar Trajan je v 2. stoletju našega štetja mestu uradno podelil naziv Colonia Ulpia Traiana Poetovio. Mednarodno je prepoznano kot najboljše evropsko mesto kulturne dediščine.
V mestu poteka eden najživahnejših in najstarejših karnevalov na svetu – Kurentovanje, s kurenti, ki so vpisani na UNESCO seznam nesnovne kulturne dediščine.
Nad mestom se dviga Ptujski grad, ki varuje mesto in hrani izjemne zbirke, pod njim pa se nahaja najstarejša vinska klet v Sloveniji - Ptujska klet. Njeni zametki segajo v leto 1239, ko so minoritski menihi pod samostanom zgradili prvo klet. Znana je po izjemni zakladnici arhivskih vin in hrani najstarejše slovensko vino (Zlata trta iz leta 1917).

The Class 5144 of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) were diesel railcars used in regional service. Scheduled operations began in 1951 and ended in 1993. The trains were built by Simmering-Graz-Pauker.
