The title of my 2026 is: new places won’t look familiar.
That’s the cost of evolving.

It costs you:
old habits, old comfort, old identities, old environments, and sometimes even the version of life that used to make perfect sense.

It means when you’re really evolving, things won’t always feel smooth or familiar. You may outgrow routines, people, spaces, and even old ways of seeing yourself. That discomfort does not always mean something is wrong. Sometimes it means you’re stretching into a life you have not lived before.

Saw this idea on the world wide web a while back and never understood why it didn’t become a trend. So we started sending videos every week in the chat to keep connected, since we’re always missing each other’s calls.

We’re all over the map doing life but every Wednesday somebody drops waffles in the gc and somehow that one thing keeps us connected.

Checking on your people doesn’t have to be deep long drawn out thing, just sometimes having a good time and disconnecting from the daily hustle. by @suavehands

Ms. Rhonda and I have been on this journey for 3 months. Through all the signatures, the fussin, the stalled contracts, we made it through. This wasn’t just a transaction, it was development journey, and she never gave up. Today she’s officially a homeowner. So proud of you. And Welcome home!!

You can’t be there for everyone at all times while you’re chasing your goals.

And if I’m honest, that guilt sits with me more than I let on. I see the missed calls, the moments I wasn’t there, and it doesn’t feel good.

But I’m learning that guilt and purpose can exist in the same season. I’m not choosing them over you. I’m choosing to become someone who can actually show up better, for longer.

I had to look at my own habits and ask myself one question. Does this belong to who I’m becoming or who I used to be?
That question changed everything.

Waffle Wednesday hit different last week.

Y’all went to the comments and said exactly what we needed to hear and honestly it confirmed something I’ve been thinking about for a while. We’re all “connected” but nobody’s really connecting. Social media gave us a following. It didn’t give us a community.

So I want to fix that.

Imagine a space where every Wednesday you actually show up, share something real, build your confidence on camera, and leave with people who are genuinely invested in where you’re going. Not a group chat. Not a text thread. Something intentional.
