Touch is somatic information.

Muscles communicate tension.
Nervous systems communicate safety.
The body registers experience before language.

Intentional therapeutic bodywork supports:

• muscular release
• nervous system downregulation
• increased somatic awareness
• improved recovery

This is physiology.

It is not substitution.
It is regulation.

High-achieving individuals often live in sympathetic dominance—
alert, driven, tight.

Clinical bodywork offers a controlled environment for the nervous system to shift states. taken in Elk Rock Wellness by @sublime_kind

Looking for tattoo artist referrals!! 🐙🌊

Hello, friends!

I’m beyond excited to begin this new journey of body adornment with an exceptional artist.

I’m drawn to surreal, delicate, feminine imagery with an oceanic spirit. Think octopus, flowing tentacles, and a dreamy, otherworldly color palette. 🪸🪷

My favorite artist is @jamesjeanart and I’d love to find a tattoo artist with that same sense of movement, intricate detail, and surrealist beauty. I know translating this kind of imagery onto the body requires exceptional artistry, so I’m happy to travel for the right person.

Please drop your favorite tattoo artists & Instagram below! Especially artists who specialize in fine detail, illustrative work, and beautiful color.

🐙💗

🌊 freedom → choice → devotion.
You don’t have to become less wild to become more rooted.

This bish. Big heart. Loves with a force that’ll give you whiplash if you’re not ready for it.

She’s the kind of friend who makes every room louder, every laugh bigger, and every life she touches a little brighter.

The universe was smart putting her in Texas… because if we lived in the same city, we’d probably be an actual public menace.

Love you forever by @sublime_kind
