🪩RETROSPECT ‘26🪩

months of rehearsals. countless memories. one unforgettable weekend.

🪄🪖what better way to begin than with my three-piece to “soldier.” getting to watch an idea become movement—and then a performance—is one of my favorite parts of creating. thank you to these girls for making this vision everything i hoped it’d be.

let’s rewind the weekend. 🎞️
@ivory_bedancing @bobbinicole._ @dancingmyriah_

one thing about Ant… his presence is felt whether he’s on the stage or not.

his choreography has a way of pushing you, challenging you, and bringing out something you didn’t know was there. i’m always grateful for the opportunity to learn from him and step into his vision.

watching this one hit the stage was such a full-circle moment.🫆🪄

there’s something so rewarding about seeing dancers take something that started as an idea and completely own it. these kids gave this piece everything they had, and i couldn’t be more proud of how they brought it to life.

i knew i wanted to bring something different this year.🧂🪄

this stomp & shake/majorette piece came together in just one week, but they committed to every count and every hit. taking a chance on something no one else brought to the show made this one EVEN MORE special. thank y’all for trusting me and bringing the energy EXACTLY how i imagined it.

@lifewitharnesa

one thing about this studio—we’re constantly inspiring each other.

i’m always grateful for the opportunity to learn from such creative people and step into work that challenges me in new ways.

one more from me.🕴️🪄

i’ve always loved movement that’s sharp, intentional, and full of personality—and this piece let me lean into all of that. a little michael, a little janet, and a whole lot of fun. thank you for trusting the process and making every moment count.

i’ll probably replay these words in my head for years. ❤️

thank you, mom, for believing in me before i believed in myself, for every sacrifice you made, and for reminding me just how loved i am. i’ll cherish th by @subroymovement_dot_org

one last time.♥️

my senior solo.

one of “the big three.”
the first seniors in our studio to experience this moment.
and now, the last time i’ll ever get to call one my own.

it’s crazy that this piece came together in just two weeks. huge thank you to @jalanicoleee for creating something so fun, challenging, and so ME.

here’s a little piece of my senior year… and a little jazz funk while we’re at it. 🪩✨

Retrospect 2026 ✨

Wow, what an experience. I am so honored to be able to display my gift of dance, and have so much support. For this show, I had a cast of 15+ dancers. We put this entire set together in 4 REHEARSALS!!!!!! This speaks volumes to the love I have for my dance community in Memphis. 🥹❤️

@terrannoir Thank you for this show. Not only was I was able to show people who I am through my moves, I was able to put dancers in the position to regain their love back again for dance. This was my first time putting my own set with dancers into a show, and I have learned so much! And sooooo… next year, Right? 😏

To my entire cast, I am OVERLYYYYY proud of you all. Y’all took time to help me bring this entire thing to life, and I can’t thank yall enough. Some of yall were in other choreographer’s sets , and to fit me into your already busy schedules really makes me feel so good. Thank you for trusting me to guide you, and make sure u pick up the phone when I call yall for this again 😚

There’s a first time for everything, but if u thought it was the last… you thought wrong. The price just went up 🤪 taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @subroymovement_dot_org
