Such an honor to be part of Palm Springs Life Home+Design’s first-ever Women in Design issue.

To have Subtrakt featured alongside so many talented women shaping design, makes this one particularly special. And seeing our Indian Wells project—the ideas, details, and relationship to the landscape—captured across these pages is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Thank you @palmspringslifemagazine Home+Design for celebrating women in design and for including my work in this beautiful issue. 🤍

Our clients loved the location and the view of their home, so we re-designed the home to blur the boundary between indoors and out, creating one continuous experience.

Details can make or break the architecture!

For our Lobos Marinos remodel/ third floor + rooftop addition, a restrained palette of warm wood, dark masonry, white stucco, and black steel gave the existing home an entirely new architectural identity.

Sometimes the biggest transformation comes from the simplest material decisions.

Beautiful architecture means nothing without beautiful light.

Light isn’t something we add at the end. It’s part of the architecture.
