My heart is full to bursting…Thank you, Portland(!), for being at your very best for our visit.. your very best is extraordinarily splendid in beauty and people.. How lucky we were to live under your tall trees for a time… How lucky to make connections that are so deep. (I was lucky to work with little ones, as I got to love the children AND their parents.) And, I learned from one friend that In Hebrew, the word “neshama” translates to “soul.” When there’s someone you love very much, you use the phrase “neshama sheli” which means “my soul.” When you say it to someone you love, it means “you are so important to me, it is like you are part of my soul.” Isn’t that beautiful..?! by @sueconlon7

Goodness..my heart grew three sizes flying in to this beautiful city of Portland this afternoon…I’m so glad I didn’t realize how much I missed it. 🥰And, as if my swelled heart wasn’t full enough, it gave us as beautiful an evening as there could be.. Powell Butte at its best. Now, to celebrate a wedding and enjoy Portland’s beautiful people! by @sueconlon7

How blessed I have been to have such a wonderful mom. She passed peacefully in the earliest hours Monday…Her Memorial service is Friday, and my dad so wishes it to be a celebration of a life well-lived..She defines a life well-lived in so many ways. I can’t think of one particular deed that will go down in history that she’ll be remembered for, but a lifetime of deeds of love and caring and fun. Mom moved through life with such generosity and grace and ability. She was a gift to all who knew her well, and I shall be celebrating her life well-lived for all my days. A thousand thousand thanks, Mom.❤️ by @sueconlon7
