Day 5 (oops, missed a day!) of Gratitude for People who have made a Profound impact on my life: Sue Conlon @sueconlon7 ✨🌟✨ I have never met anyone like this woman, a person so gentle and kind, yet so strong. To be in her presence is to feel at home. She was my boys first teacher. She created Windsong Waldorf Preschool in her home, in Portland, OR. I poached some of her pictures and it was hard to find a single one of her alone, because she is a dear treasure and all around her love and admire her deeply; she’s always surrounded by family, friends and children. 🌈 The images in this series are of the sweet school she created and everything made by hand, mostly by her. She is a wonderful woodworker. She taught me how to felt. She taught me of the simples, natural pleasures in life. She fortified basic trust in ones intuition when it comes to mothering/parenting. She is creative, thoughtful, patient, warm and sweet like honey! I miss those days of sweet children’s laughter, warm homemade bread, knome cakes and beards, young moms intent on Sue’s wisdom, plays and songs and rhythm. Back to nature, back to true living with no technology. I love you Sue and appreciate everything I gleaned from you! You are a treasure to this earth and these times! The second photo is of some of her alumni. @dckona_caputo @shana_ruth_cc How are you, Sue? 😘 #waldorf #waldorfeducation #portlandoregon #preschool #goddess #inspirationalpeople #mothering #blessed #grateful #gratitude
