The most amazing thing happened to me on the lake:
We all know to give the wildlife its space, but when this beautiful loon chose to swim right past me while being very vocal; that’s something special! 😍

August 8th is Father’s Day where I grew up.

In Oliver, you will find the cutest farm cafe!

The farm is certified organic and menu is designed to pair with the produce they grow!
Edible flowers, tomatoes, zucchinis, broccolini and don’t forget about their amazing organic red Russian garlic! @amazia_farmer

Look for the sign at the curve on the right, just before you get into Oliver from the north(Kelowna) on highway 97

It has been my annual tradition to participate in @acrossthelakeswim in Kelowna.
Today was a tougher one than usual, windy, lots side chops, strong current; similar to the one we experienced back in 2014.
Just like life: not everyday can be sunshine and rainbow and to be swimming in a perfectly calm lake. Today was more like a water treadmill 🤪🏊 but I did it and it was still fun. Also incredible to have @itsglennwith2ns and family join me! Both kids did the swim at a different distances 💪🏻
