I’ve still got a few of these fun and funky cups available for adoption through @almas.rva ! Both in person and online!!! 🌈☕️

This annual cup show has quickly become one of my favorite arts + crafts events on the East Coast! 🍵💖

I’m already plotting my designs for next year! 🍺☕️🥤🍶🍨🍵

If you’re in Richmond stop by and check it out! 🌞

I blinked and realized I’ve spent the entire summer trying to photograph my mixed media piece “The Gaze” 👁️

This illuminated clay and glass sculpture was my contribution to the Chrysler Glass Studio Assistant Show: Fish Brains - all the way back in June! 🐟

This was an incredibly experimental and *chaotic* project that required a lot of problem solving and pushed me into uncharted creative territory. I had to learn a LOT about clay and glazes as well as my new love Boro, in a verrrry short time period. ☄️

I abandoned my original idea and returned to it before abandoning it again. I have truly never been so riddleld with self doubt and chronic overthinking in my life. Literal blood sweat and tears were sacrificed every step of the way. Good thing I’m stubborn as hell!!! 🫠

This entire yearlong assistantship at the @chryslermuseum has transformed me in every imaginable way- but it’s still hard to see the tangible proof as I stumble through yet another tumultuous transition period. 🌊

This piece feels like the proof of immense personal growth and a visual reminder that I have a whole new set of tools to play, design and create with. I’m emerging as they say. Sooooo excited to keep exploring and transforming. 🦋

Glassy friends: come play with me in Norfolk! I’ve been itching to for some fresh collabs!🧜‍♀️❤️‍🔥

Thanks for reading and sticking around! ❤️‍🔥

Please tell me what you think of this new style of work! ✨

Fan favorite critter : Lobster Jasper, perfectly camouflaged amongst the ferns. 🌿🍃✨

(thank you for giving him such a good name @christieserpentine lol )

Hot sculpting these chunky little animals has become my new favorite challenge over the last year or so. Feels good summoning little dudes out of my sketchbook into the material realm!

What do you think? Want to see more of these guys? 💨

First Corning experience! First ever GAS conference!! First time being 31!!! Wowww what a weekend! 🍒🍒🍒
I’ve never been so pleasantly overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of skill, talent and creativity concentrated in one place.

It felt so wonderful to be surrounded by a sea of other glass artists, all with their different paths they’ve taken to work with this enchanted medium.

Took the spring off from posting on this godforsaken app and I’m so glad I did. If you’re getting the urge to step away from social media for a moment I highly recommend. I just focused on being present for the conference and my work at the studio and documented what I could. But now it’s time to play catch up and share some of the crazy cool, chaotic nonsense I’ve been working on the last couple weeks. Thanks for staying tuned! ❤️‍🔥 taken in Corning Museum of Glass by @sugarcadavers

Still integrating and reflecting on the surge of cosmic, magical energy @vanessalgerman brought to the glass studio a couple weeks ago.

The whirlwind of it all. Sitting in stillness. Dancing like flowers. Singing like birds. Hot tears and whispered dreams. A prayer in every bubble.

Thank you for sharing your time and vision with us.

✨I look for you in everything…

Glass, pigmented abaca fiber, plant glue 🍃
2025

🌀

Details of my piece for the 33rd Perry Glass Studio Assistant Exhibition: So Long and Thanks for all the Snacks 🍪

“Pillars of solid, hot assembled clear glass are wrapped in strips of translucent abaca (Musa textilis) fiber and secured with plant glue. Soft but sturdy plant fibers harden and strengthen with the passage of time to form a colorful protective shell around the cooled glass forms. Each glass tower is comprised of multiple, experimental gestures that were individually melted together, piece by piece. These raw organic forms and the therapeutic process of carefully wrapping each shape in soft paper is meant to capture and embody the intense, unexpected twists and turns of the grieving process. “

Been 166 days without you Lulu… I miss you. 💚

“I look for you in everything….” 🌙

My 🌴abaca and glass ✨sculpture is currently on view at the @chryslermuseum as part of the 33rd glass assistant show:

“So Long and Thanks for All the Snacks” 🍪
Up through mid January ❤️‍🔥

I’m so proud of this project! 💗
Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision a reality! 🌀

Creating this piece helped me begin to mend my broken heart and process my grief. ❤️‍🩹 I wanted to give physical form to big messy feelings. Find the beauty and love at the root of the pain. 🥀 I miss you so much Lulu this one’s for you 💚😽
