Last year I had the pleasure of creating two full sized Christmas trees for the Perry Glass Collection. It was a fun challenge working on such a large scale. The amazing Chrysler Museum Glass Studio was an absolute pleasure to work in, the team and facilities there are beyond amazing! A big thank you to everyone who helped on this project!

I am a Studio Assistant at the Chrysler Museum of Art’s Perry Glass Studio! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 @chryslermuseum

Since January, I’ve been assisting with classes, supporting public noon demonstrations, and dedicating time to developing my technical skills with guidance from the Perry Glass staff & my fellow studio assistants. 🤓

Elated to finally say that in addition to clay, I am also pursuing a career in glass!!

This six-month program will culminate in an exhibition at the main museum featuring work by all nine studio assistants: @anna_yiaxi_savvidou @sockeyeart @sugarcadaversglass @sashamosesglass @oddluckarts @artsygma2022 @snoramics @discordantchorus

This weekend 3/7- 3/8 we’re hosting a Spring Cleaning Seconds Sale from 10:00-5 pm. “Seconds” are pieces with small quirks, or prototypes that don’t meet our personal standards but are still fully functional and beautiful. Because of those minor imperfections, they’re offered at a discounted rate.

my friend @infiniteentropy took some amazing shots from my glass after dark back in September with @phoenixjuls and our amazing team.

Still feeling so full after this experience. 🥹

This was my second largest public performance as a featuring artist and it meant so much more than just the work itself, it was a reminder of how powerful community and support can be. I couldn’t have done this without my incredible team who helped make it all happen, each of you had a hand in it and I felt that love through every moment.

To my friends and family who showed up, those cheering from afar, and everyone in our little growing family, thank you for holding me, believing in me, and reminding me why I love this craft and this place so much. The warmth, care, and connection in this area and among our ever growing community is really something special.

Coming back to blowing glass after a long break, and doing it in front of a large group of people again, honestly felt terrifying, but being surrounded by such genuine support turned it into something beautiful. I’m proud of all of us. I feel the growth, the love, and the magic that comes from doing this together.

So much gratitude to every single person who made this possible, you know who you are. 🥰 I might post a round two of some of the other shots 💕

Starting to feel settled in at the new place. I’ve learned so much already, seen so much cool shit, and have made so many new friends. Being surrounded by so many talented and creative folks is just so amazing it’s almost overwhelming, buts it’s already been such an amazing experience and it’s barely even begun.
